Hey, Im having a lot of issues in grind for espresso, I did the calibration, but my shots are channeling a lot and getting very acidic, it seems my burrs are not grinding correctly. Is there a way to align them? Also one strange behavior is the fact I'm grinding 18gr of coffee in 9s, isnt it too fast?

Hi, an AGSA error has been coming up on the screen of my EK Omnia ever since 15/07/2024 and as a result the grinder just won't operate. I called the support line and dropped an email to service-center address as instructed on 16/07/2024, yet I am still due to recieve a response (after multiple chasers). Is there anyone who can help me resolve this problem? It is a shame that for the cost of this product, you do not get an appropriate troubleshooting support.

Already loose 4 screw, set to 800 micron but still very hard to open the chamber. Any help ?

Can you give me some insight into the "high volume" flapper kit. What's the benefit of the addition of the metal part, is there a downside? I'm guessing there must be a reason it's not included as standard (unlike with the e65) - I'd really appreciate some information - thanks

The new model offers several features that seem worthwhile compared to the EK43. However, I'm a bit skeptical about the reliability of the new digital display. It appears that a lot of swiping is required to reach specific values, which could potentially lead to failures sooner than a more analog approach. 🧐

My nob is stuck. I’ve cleaned the burs removed the nob and reattached it but I just can’t adjust the grind at all. Is there any other step I can take to get the nob unstuck ? The burs are not touching and I can still grind. But the adjustment nob is not able to turn in any direction. Any help would be appreciated.

Is the Omnia shipped with the coffee burrs set? And do they grind fine enough for lighter roast espresso? I had an EK back in 2013 and had to change the coffee burrs set for Turkish in order to be able to grind fine enough for espresso. I believe Mahlkonig later refined the geometry of the coffee burrs to enable them to go fine enough for espresso.

Hi there, seeing you using UH1 84-201 (705172) lubrication on the shaft and spring instead of UH1 64-62 (105168). Is this the new revision that is not being aware of?

I’ve done this and still have to grind espresso at 3micron and getting 18 in 40 out in 20 seconds. Any suggestions for how I can be able to grind for espresso in this and be able to dial in further?

We were sent this video by La Marzocco tech to recalibrate our grinder. However, the video goes so quickly, it is almost impossible to follow directions. Any chance this is written out with step by step? Would be hugely helpful.

Seems like no lubes are required on the shaft and etc like EK43 does, is that right?

I cannot put the burrcarrier back on the rod of the grinder. Feels like the tolerances were too tight. And yes I am aligning the 2 pins with the grooves correctly. I have cleaned the grinder meticulously on the rod and re lubricated with foodgrade lubricant. It quite simply feels impossible to the it back on! It was also really a struggle to get it out initially. Any solutions? Thanks in advance!

Will the silver knob pull off? We need to spray electronics cleaner into the knob shaft. Because the display is very jumpy, the contacts must be oxidized and just need the spray to bring it back to normal operation. Thank you

Hi, Q: Is the selector knob pull off/removable? Ours needs some electronics spray cleaner sprayed into the knob shaft.. Because the knob response has gotten bad/jumpy/unreliable. Due to common age/oxidation of internal contacts... But unplugging and spraying with the knob installed, blocks the spray from getting where it needs to. Ours is Not the GBW, just E65S entry model. Thanks

Do you have torque specs for the screws?

I have been using my grinder for 10 months. On a busy day, we go through about 15lbs through the grinder. We wipe and clean the flapper every day after service, and regularly service the grinder. The grinds have been increasingly spraying out. I thought it was only because of the flapper needing to be cleaned but not sure. Is it possible it's time to replace it?
