This is something I can get behind as far as purebred anything. Breed for the betterment of the breed altogether. One of my auntie breeds keeshounds for showing and I wish she shared this breeder’s sentiments. Her dogs are pretty, but they all have a screw loose here and there. Out of all the one’s I’ve met from her line, only three were ones I’d own as pets.

I wouldn't even call what they're doing a program, id say it's actual proper behavior. They're taking health into about and giving them good lives

Very helpful content. We have adopted what i am pretty sure is a Xolo that the humane society thought was a tall, thin Chihuahua. I knew it wasnt from monent one. She is fawn colored, toy sized, and very little hair in the oddest places. I am totally in love. I am worried about caring for her skin as it looks really dry and splotchy. The humane society said she has alopecia...ha! Any suggestions ?

We just adopted what we believe is a Xolo dog. When we got her we were told she was a Chihuahua and I knew that was not right. She is very lovable and had bonded with me from the moment I brought her home. Her color is I would say fawn or red. She is a toy size. She is for the most part hairless or short haired. I am not absolute she is a Xolo dog but she really checks all the boxes. We are totally in love with this little lady.

Do I have to crate train? I attempted to twice and failed. They ended up defecating in their and hated it!

We LOVE our 7 mo year old Xlollo. We named her Xóchitl and love her to death. Very sweat, intelligent, great puppy!
