If Poirot taught us anything: It is life is suffering. and the smartest minds suffer most. yes, tiny islands of triumph surrounded by an ocean of unease and discomfit. and whose most precious secret is only revealed at the moment of death. Hope you guess right.
I stream Britbox and Acorn, at less $ than US streams. I get to see it all, as many times as I like. I’d throw away the TV without it and PBS. The US industry is an unskilled embarrassment the world sees. We are rarely reflected in our TV and it’s an embarrassment.
This is missing one of my favorites: "I am glad to see you looking so rested this morning Hastings. And what a turn of speed you displayed last night. What..... agility, to jump through the window, huh? And to leave your poor old friend Poirot in the soup."
David Suchet entertain many generations in this actor career. But I think the audience.Would remember him best as Hercule Poirot from the tv series. After Agatha Christies crime novel and David suchet was mabye one of better actors.Who could play Hercule Poirot also.
I remember one scene where Poriot was watching an American movie and shuts his eyes when they start shooting their Tommy gun. After the movie Poriot to Hasting "This is the last time Hastings."
I see you included the crocodile episode, but what I most like about that episode is the cab ride from the airport, where the tail progressively encroaches into Poirot's face. I also the Chinese laundry episode, where Miss Lemon tries out some pidgin English suggested by Hastings: _Him collar no very good starchy._
"I don't know how good he is as a detective, but he does have a stuffed crocodile in his room," they would say and the detective in question would become renown and famous.
As always, compliments to David Suchet for doing a fine job as poirot! 100% my poirot. But Hugh Fraser's rendition of Hastings is not to be ignored, he did such a good job of playing a character who is supposed to have not one intelligent thought in his mind, a blank expression and falls in love with a different woman every other day :')

The original obsesive compulsive detective.
I loved his program and watching all the actors!
I love Suchet, but at 6:52, he sounds silly saying, "He has slight variation, the Chinaman." His accent and delivery made him sound silly.
Sul canale 39 stanno facendo vedere i film di Poirot con David Suched e gli altri attori nella parte di Poirot fantastici i film e tutti gli attori

They were perfect. Wish the series was still on. Also liked all the other detective movies, Chan, Holmes,Miss Marple, even Mr. Moto
I watched the first 5 seasons on DVD in the U.S. and I think some of these scenes or even episodes were not in them.
I missed Hastings, Miss Lemon, and Japp sooooo much in the later seasons.
I had the pleasure of meeting David Suchet in New York. Such a gentleman.
Jedan jedini, neponovljivl David Suchet, jedan jedini, neponovljivi Herkul Poaro!
Very good compilation thanks
Delicious .
من واقعا عاشق این سریال هستم، تک به تک اپیزودها. و عاشق شوخ طبعی لطیف و ظریف پوارو.
Never under-estimate the power of a unique walk, as both Harry Lauder and Charlie Chaplin knew.
Love this man! David Suchet!!
❤❤❤❤❤❤this series soooo much

When Hastings jumps through that window I lost it
When Hastings jumps through that window I lost it
I was entirely unaware of Monsieurs affliction, his phobie de Faggots
Miss this series! The one and only Poirot and Captain Hastings💙
Life first, Miss Lemon, filing second
I remember one scene where Poriot was watching an American movie and shuts his eyes when they start shooting their Tommy gun. After the movie Poriot to Hasting "This is the last time Hastings."
In which one did he say: "Poirot he also thinks it is the tosh". 🤪
Nie ma tłumaczenia na język polski ? Dlaczego ?🤔

A stuffed crocodile does induce a touch of voguish Je ne sais quoi to a detective's consulting room.

Good selection, but I miss my favorie. From the Clapham Cook. Annie the scullery maid scenes with Poirot especially the Whie Slavers dialogue.

"Sir there's a gentleman suffering from hercule poirot syndrome!" 😂😂😂😂
24:42 funny scene !

I think Poirot is just the French version of Adrian Monk 🤣🤣
Mon Dieu!! BELGIAN

“You don’t happen to have a handicapped card on you, sir?” “No, no, I’m fine.” 2:59 Absolutely priceless.
Were ice-cream cones really so skimpy back in 1930's England?
Love Poirot
❤
Hastings talking about cubicle whatsits has Bertie Wooster vibes.
I say, what ho! Tipsy toodidloo doo and the stuff to you, good sir!

Splendid thank you
David Suchet is Poirot, Poirot is David Suchet.
David Poirot or Hercule Suchet
28:48 Japp looking at Poirot as she says " a very peculiar foreigner "
I giggled with every scene.
"Please don't fraternize with that creature. I am still training him." Priceless!!
