As a serving soldier who has spent over 1 year in both iraq and afghanistan I totaly agree the attacks were illegal but in my time i have seen a vast improvment in the lives of both common peoples (my heart bleeds everyday for those caught up in civillian casualties, truly!) but "it is not a soldiers duty to ask why, it is ours to fight and die" (for the hope of a better tommorow)

U have an intersting point. Perhaps when its your own country directly involved in something wrong that one has to say something. U see in a great country like Britain people have that choice, the choice to speak freely. Iraqis didnt have that option under Saddam its debatable if that will change now.

I never understood this hypocrisy within the armed forces, you say you want to help yet YOU MUST FOLLOW ORDERS, when the blind lead the blind progress comes to a screeching halt.
