the solo tooty trumpet like in the first part of the overworld theme is a little, well, lonely. but i like the more ‘stereotypically Hoenn’ trumpets that come in later! they really feel authentic, adventurous. this is so neat to compare to your previous version of this tune, I think it’s an improvement overall, has even more of an ‘atmosphere’. and the battle theme is great too! the bass, the ‘slow attack’ on some of the synths, the bells, the little ‘solos’ from organs and chiptunes and such, really fun to listen to! awesome work <3

I like this on principle, but i feel like using the trumpet synth for the lead melody on the overworld music takes away from the delicate feel of the track. Ironically, the lead synth you used for the start of the battle music might have been a better pick for the overworld? Ultimately, I love the creativity of this remix! Can't wait to see more!

I think the start could have a little bit more love, it barely changes tone enough and feels like repeating. Everything past 0:35 is perfection though! The use of trumpets for such a rough and important piece shows high skill!
