I've just made my first Donny and love it more than I expected to. I made it in an Indian block print voile and it is just so lovely. I immediately started to cut out another. This time I am using a stunning Atelier Brunette crepe viscose which has a lovely weight and drape, in a sort of pinky-beige colour. I am sure it will look very different to my first one. The only adjustment I made is to do a narrow shoulder adjustment and on the second one I lengthened it by a smidge which I couldn't do on the first one because I didn't have enough material. I had to laugh about you only cutting out one collar and yoke x 4! I made the same mistake, only cutting out one collar and then didn't have a big enough piece to cut a second one, so I had to cut it in two pieces and seam it but because the pattern is busy you just will never notice it!

I enjoyed your sewing room tour. I order some vacuum bags to store my fabrics; I think they will save me some space. I have 20 big totes with fabric and its a pain to shuffle around when I need fabric for projects. Thank you for sharing, and May Your Days be filled with Good Sewing.
