My HDMI jack was replaced in service for $30 in 24h. Assembly works well in reverse. Care must be taken with the front camera cable, which runs from front to back. I disconnected both ends before running it between the bottom two boards. Some pin-compatible HDMI jacks may be 0,5mm taller. This can work as a compromise, but you may need to file the back panel to compensate for the height differe...

@@mendebil hello , thank you for your reply. I have the projetor on my outside balcony and we use it only nights after dinner, when it's more cool. We are at the peak of summer here with > 35deg Celsius here, so it's really very hot. I believe it's overheating as you said, but what bothers me is that in previous years I had the same usage and conditions and the projector worked flawlessly. Moreso, I never get a warning of heating and/or dimmed screen. It works for 2 minutes, 10 minutes, it's random, it just shuts down in 2 seconds. I can just press the power button and start again...

The documentation on the wiki for probing in bCNC software is sorely lacking. There are still parts of it I can't figure out what they do. The autolevel took me a while and I was only able to figure out how it works by trial and error. Lots and lots of trial and error. I can set that up and run it in my sleep now. Maybe I should write the procedure down and take some screenshots and photos of the mill and make the documentation myself. At least then the next guy won't think they completely suck at google searching. Or that they should have learned how autolevel works in the 5th grade like everyone else.

Digital meter is not going to see the real current as it's a ripple. DC reading is smoothing out the readings. Put that meter on the AC side, reading AC amps, get your base line AC draw, divide Vin/vo (AC/DC) then multiple the AC current reading to see what they are drawing while running test 2...current limit your DC supply to one amp, and I'll bet most will not even move at anything over .5rpm

Flawed test. The only way to correctly measure current is to use a oscilloscope current probe to see the peak current into the windings. A digital voltage meter cannot read the fast changing microstepping waveform that the driver is sending out to the motor. The driver is sending a high frequency chopped current. Your volt meter is to slow to even see this.

@@GGJP200 keep a reference point outside the work piece. After 6 years I am still on a $3 Arduino uno and $2.5 CNC shield V3. This is an amazing setup worked 8h in a row without losing a step
