Classic Chanel Shoes - Review on Fit & Comfort
Hi friends, long time no see! Thanks for visiting after a little hiatus. I hope my review on my Chanel shoe collection can be helpful when choosing your first or next pair of Chanel shoes. I know getting to a store and purchasing these coveted pieces is not always an option so sizing can be tough. Also when purchasing such a high ticket item for your wardrobe, it's helpful to know how comfortable or painful a pair of shoes can be. You would think when paying so much for shoes, it would come with a guarantee of comfort but that is not always the case. At least for me... No pain no gain, right?!

Sweetheart there is no difference between the CC’s buckle on the *yutulu* and real one. You’re seeing things that aren’t there. If a professional came in and told you the CC was a real, you’d probably agree.

Hello! Excellent review! If you happen to see this comment, is there any way you could possibly tell me the length of the clutch strap? I just purchased my bag on Vestiaire Collective and I’m concerned it is not authentic. The strap is very short and impossible to wear as a crossbody. I’ve attempted looking a various websites for confirmation, but they have conflicting information on the strap length. I would so, so appreciate your input! Thank you!! 😊
Happy to help! The strap on the clutch is 40" at the longest. It's not the best length for me as a crossbody. I am fuller chested, average in weight but I can wear it crossbody if I need to but it sits higher than I'd like. If it is significantly shorter than that at the longest then it can be possible that the strap of the top handle was switched with the crossbody. Hope this helps and good luck!

Hi, is the strap on the big one is able to use for crossbody? Is the strap 45 cm long? I am thinking to buy the big one, but I am not sure with the strap. 😢
Hi! Unfortunately the large one does not come with a long cross body strap. It comes with a strap that is about 76cm at the longest which is more of a shoulder strap. Hope that helps!

Which one is best for travel?
The large top handle is good in terms of size. If you need the extra space then it would be the best option and you can switch from the top handle or the shoulder strap. However the clutch is a great option to go from an evening bag and a casual crossbody. If you don't need to over stuff your bag, then the clutch is a great option. Sometimes when I travel, I do not like to carry such a large purse. Hope that helps!

Hi, which one do you use more or like better?
I would say the clutch is easier to use because of the size. The top handle can sometimes be a bit large but I still have a use for it on days where I need the extra room. The clutch is also great size to use day and night where as the top handle seems more casual because of the size. Hope that helps!

No, all my shoes are regular because my feet are not wide enough to go actually wear wide shoes. My feet are just a touch wider than the rest of my feet.

You forgot to provide the dimensions on the black bag. I believe you said it was a medium bag.
The size is 13"w (top ) x 8"h x 6"d. This is considered the LE PLIAGE ORIGINAL S HANDBAG size.

I like the larger size (top handle) as Im plus-size 5’8” so I think it would look better on my frame. Does the bottom stay flat/ rigged (not curve…when you put items inside) ? Thanks
The top handle is a very practical and beautiful bag, I'm sure you will enjoy it. The bottom is fairly firm and rigid. It is structured where it should hold its shape unless you plan on carrying something very heavy.

Hi, it was the garnet/eggplant one that I mentioned was medium by mistake. It is actually considered the large size. I wrote a note on the video about the correction. Sorry for the confusion!

Thank you for your in depth review. It made me pull the trigger to buy the small Toteme bag. I was looking for a a new everyday day bag. Have been eying Polene bags as well for a long time. But lately I see the Polene bags everywhere. I live in Amsterdam. And do not see the Toteme bags a lot. So decided to buy the small. The bigger on is just a little to big for me and I would overstuff the bag
Great choice! The clutch still has a lot of space to fill but I agree the handle bag is significantly larger. The clutch is very chic. Enjoy!

Thanks for watching! I unfortunately do not have an iPad mini but I tried putting a small book and it doesn't fit because of the opening of the clutch. Hope that helps but the clutch is still a great option!

Could you remove the top handle strap on the larger bag and wear it as an oversized clutch?
Hi, top handle of the bag is not removable but you can tuck it into the bag. However the ends of the top handle will be sticking out so just keep that in mind. Hope that helps!

Hi! I have a MacBook Air 13” and a 15” Pro and it fits both. Since the bag doesn’t have a structured hard bottom, the Pro feels heavy but it does fit. As long as you don’t have a bulky case, you should be fine. Hope that helps!

Glad to help! I can't say I remember but I will say that they do carry a lot of their classic pieces a long with with overstock and seasonal. If you aren't in a rush, then it might be worth the wait. Even though it's not a large savings, something is better than nothing. Enjoy your trip to Paris!

Hi Sylvia, I love your collection of the basket bags! I've been thinking about getting the celine one since I've got loewe already. Just wondering, which brand do you think has the better quality of basket bag?
Thank you! I would say the raffia on the Celine is better quality. It's smoother and holds its shape better. If you can invest a little more, it will be worth it. I love the anagram patch and adjustable straps but the Celine is more refined. I also love my Celine Cabas bag that is more durable and structured. You can't go wrong with Celine. This is SUCh a helpful review and might finally convince me to make the leap on this bag! After seeing you model these, I'm gravitating towards the clutch-can I ask which length the strap is adjusted to at 13:31 Is the strap doubled under the flap or in its normal position? Hi, thanks for watching! Sorry for the delay. The clutch is a great option. When I have it at the shorter strap option, I have the strap criss crossed from the inside to make the strap seem shorter. I have the hardware buckle in the middle hole which makes the strap 22" long from end to end and a 9.5" strap drop. The strap at the longest is 42". I hope this helps!
Love the music. I'm a big fan of floral arrangements and I've tried many times but I don't seem to have the knack. Maybe the use of a frog might help. I'm not familiar with this traditional Japanese style but my goodness, it's lovely beyond words. That flat rock like vessel is stunning. I'm assuming you put the water in the opening? The vessel is a work of art on it's own. I'm about that floral life. You are speaking my language, first with Le Pilage bags and now flowers. Keep it going🌷😊🌺🌻🌹⚘🌼🌻🌿🌾

THANK YOU for the mod shots at the end. I’m also 5’4” and a bit bustier so I really wanted to see how they would compare. They both suit so well! I was worried the larger would look too big but I love it on you
Do you find yourself reaching for one size over the other more often?
Thanks for watching! I do reach for the clutch more because it's easier in the summer but the large handle bag is really roomy. When I have more to carry, it's been great. I imagine wearing the larger one more in the fall with all my layering. I feel like it will look more balanced than in the summer with lighter weight clothes. Hope that helps!

Really useful video. Can you tell me the length of the strap on the clutch I’m worried it won’t do crossbody on me
Thank you! The strap at the longest is 42" including the hardware. One thing I just thought of is that you can take the handle to a leather/shoe repair and ask them to add a few notches to the strap! You can easily add 2 more holes that will give you 3" more. It's 1.5" between each hole so the extra length will hopefully do the job. I might just go and do that myself! Hope this helps.

Would an ipad fit in the bag? Thank you!
I tried putting in a 10" ipad and it fit but the purse will have to fold flap straight across making it more structured so you lose the dip in the middle like I mentioned in the video. It still leaves room for your other essentials. It wound fit a smaller tablet better like a kindle but If you don't mind that, I think it still looks beautiful!
It is a tight squeeze but it does fit.

New subscriber! Just some suggestions. Microphone, as stated above. Black bags, black shirt, black shopping bag make it really difficult to see. Are you using a ring light? Straight on shots looked really dark, whereas shots from overhead were good. 👍🥰👍 Beautiful bags!

So helpful! I noticed you got both in the grained leather. I'm debating bewteen the two black top handles (smooth leather+ gold hardware Or what you have). Did you choose this option because the grained leather is more durable? I like gold hardware but dont want smooth leather that'll scratch easily🤔
Thanks for watching! I got both because I was "supposed" to return one, lol! Oops, that didn't happen but I wanted a more casual bag with silver hardware. I have so many black and gold bags so I really wanted something different. The Smooth with gold is beautiful but I do like the pebbled leather and yes, will show less marks. I guess if you want a more dressy bag then the smooth with gold might be better and will fall around the corner, the gold could take you further than mine. If you are more casual then the pebbled leather might be a great fit. I really don't think you can go wrong with any color way. Good luck, I hope that helps!
@cjl6254, Another reviewer (Michele Wang) says that the smooth leather is also hard wearing and doesn't scratch easily. :) I just got the small size with the silver hardware and it is both very chic and practical.

I have the gold/ smooth leather but it’s durable and doesn’t scratch easily
