      Sure! Here are the Amazon links to the items but you can purchase them at any hardware store if you wanted to shop around: The Spray Gun: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JVLSN11/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The Professional Foam which has actually gone up in price since I purchased it so you may want to shop around: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0044UYJXG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 And the Weldbond glue that I use on Styrofoam and pretty much anything I need to glue together: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09HL52W14/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 You can also find the glue cheaper if you shop around. Just make sure that you get the one that is for multi surfaces and dries clear. Thanks for asking and be sure to post pictures of your creation!!

    After you make the milk jug skull what did you put on it? Is it just painted on the outside or is there something else?

    • @CrazyCraftCorner
      @CrazyCraftCorner 11 месяцев назад

      Good Question...if you continue along in the video we show how we paint them towards the end. If your asking why they are tan or brown to start with that is because after I made them I just sprayed a solid coat of paint over them as I knew that would be my base coat. I always start with a solid base coat (spray paint being the easiest) and then do all my detailing over that. The light color is: American Accents Spray Paint, Satin Nutmeg, the darker color is: Satin Espresso and Gloss Kona Brown. Hope that helps!

    • @CrazyCraftCorner
      @CrazyCraftCorner Год назад

      That would be great! The location we used them in is up high on a wall so it would be really hard for us to turn them on and off or change out the batteries so we just opted for lighting them from the front with spots. We've used these now for 3 years and they still look brand new. They have aged very well and held up in the California Heat/Direct sunlight and rain without any issues. I have not even needed to touch them up! Thanks for the comment!

    Did yall ever do a finished video how he was painted or anything? Thanks in advance. Just didn't know if I overlooked it

    • @CrazyCraftCorner
      @CrazyCraftCorner Год назад

      Hi Beth! Sorry no we never really did a video on that part. I sum it up basically at the end of the video on how we finished him up. I took a really cheap felt Santa suit from amazon and put it on him then cut it in the back where it wouldn't show and hot glued it back on in order to make it fit properly. You just have to cut out all the extra fabric. I used that extra fabric to make the tails on the jacket. Took about an hour to fit it all properly. The felt was easy to work with and the hot glue holds felt very well. The only thing we had to paint was the head. We painted it white with spray paint and then I used carbon paper and a print out pattern I found to put the face on and used black acrylic paint to paint it with. His boots are just the faux leather boot toppers that came with the Santa outfit wrapped around the PVC and Noodles. I added the white fur to give it more contrast around his hands and boots. This will be our third year using him outside with hot sun and rain and so far I haven't had to touch up anything! He has held up incredibly well! Thanks for asking and I hope that was helpful!

    Are the plastic fingers individual or is it the skeleton hand?

    • @CrazyCraftCorner
      @CrazyCraftCorner 2 года назад

      The fingers are individual. They are actually plastic finger tips like kids get at Halloween. You can get them at the Dollar Store and I think they come 5 in a package. These are similiar to what I am referring to: www.amazon.com/BinaryABC-Halloween-Fingers-Cosplay-Accessory/dp/B08GS13YLR Hope that helps.

    Is it good in the rain?

    • @CrazyCraftCorner
      @CrazyCraftCorner 2 года назад

      Yes it worked well in the rain and sun. We had it on our roof for about a month total. The Styrofoam will stand up to pretty much any weather and I used all weather outdoor house paint that I got discounted (returned) at the hardware store. It was really cheap that way. A couple coats and that pretty much guarantees that it stays nice and weather proof. If you have strong winds you may need to secure it like we did to something sturdy otherwise it's all weather!

    • @CrazyCraftCorner
      @CrazyCraftCorner 2 года назад

      We also used it over the Christmas Holidays as a fireplace for our Nightmare Before Christmas scene that we did. So really it stood up to 2 months of California weather! We still have it stored and will use it again this Christmas. Very sturdy and easy to repair if anything gets damaged. I really recommend the glue we used that I listed in the comments. It has worked for me for years on Styrofoam and pretty much any surface I need glued together. Thanks for the question!

    I would like to do the milk jug skulls, but would like to know where/what the skull base is. How did the plastic not melt and stick to it?

    • @CrazyCraftCorner
      @CrazyCraftCorner 2 года назад

      We used a resin skull for the base. You can get one on Amazon or Micheal's. They run around 20.00 and that is your entire investment. This is the exact skull I used: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017XSJ6BK

    @TheXerosyn 2 года назад

    where did you get the original skull? How do you make it not sick to it?

    • @CrazyCraftCorner
      @CrazyCraftCorner 2 года назад

      Hey sorry I didn't get back to you sooner thanks for the question! I got this skull at Micheals a few years back. You can use either plaster, resin or actual bone skulls. The initial investment is probably around 20.00 for a good one. Make sure it has as much detail as you can as that really helps with the molding especially in the teeth area. I drilled a hole in this one and mounted it on a body form I had just to make it easier to use and get it up off the floor and make it a bit more stable. Hope that helps and let me know if you have any other questions! I would love to see pictures of your skulls!! Happy Halloween!
