Eine "ganz normale" Landung bei schlechten Windverhältnissen war das mit Sicherheit nicht, wie das einige hier behaupten. Und was sollen solche Kraftausdrücke wie "fliegen bei schönem Wetter kann jeder". Wir wollen doch möglichst nur bei schönem Wetter fliegen. Ich habe so etwas noch nie erlebt....und Flugzeuge sind wegen Turbulenzen schon verunglückt! (Delta/Atlanta, Pobeda/Ukraine) nur um zwei zu nennen.

alles richtig gemacht, ja für die meisten passagiere dürfte es subjektiv trotzdem horror gewesen sein

We are well trained to act in situations like this. The plane itself is sturdy and can handle severe turbulence. Only passengers who do not know these things are scared to death.

30% flaps must be a short runway why you're hitting harder cap needs the entire runway hence the aborted landing coming in to hot.

I suspect that most of the upsetting motion was due to aggressive control inputs by the pilot rather than turbulence. Why? Because most of the upsetting motion disappeared after initiating the go around, as well as the aggressive control inputs. I doubt that the weather got scared and calmed down after the airplane hit the runway.

Für Salzburg nicht ungewöhnlich. Entweder warmer Föhn aus südlichen Richtungen oder Nord/Nordwestwind. Als Spotter kriegt man vor Ort "action" geboten... :-)
