Просмотров 17 тыс.9 лет назад
I went to Advance Auto Parts and Auto Zone for a replacement part for my Engine coolant/ AntiFreeze reservoir tank and was quoted $150. I found the exact part for $50 on Ebay.
Thanku boo for teaching me how to program my key love it
So stupid
Terrible video dude get to the point
Thanks 😊
I'm really surprise to see that there is no need immo device. It's specific for chevy ?
It worked the first 2 or 3 times after that it wouldn't unlock the doors there's a different program needed and I don't know what it is
You don't need to start the car with the original key, also you can get just the key cases and take the guts out of old one and install into new one.
Thank you sir.
Worked on the first try thanks 😊
does the car have to be running in order to program the new one?
Nice! And where did you get the key blade cut?
Name of the site you ordered the keys from bruv?
Thanks so much smooth and understanding. Thank you so very much. Great job.
You talk too much, Get to the point.
Love the insights. But isn't it just recognizing the key cuts? Not necessarily the program of the new fob? The new fob's alarm is blank.
if the old key blade is still good, you can knock out the pin holding it to fob and swap it with the new fob; will save you from having to get another key cut
love form Bangladesh 🇧🇩
Thank you sir 🫡
How do you know the frecuency 433 or 315 MHZ?
If I have the computer board, original battery and the original key. Why cannot I transfer it to new fob that I bought on line for my vehicle. Therefore no new cut key. Just my fob broke. Will that work?
Why so much explaining that you have the original key. I just dont care. Get to the programming!
You can literally just skip to that part 🤪
Well most dyi videos if not ALL, show us how to remove and replace...not bitchand brag about price differences of new unit VS. Leak repair u could have said in 1 sentence. What a big let 👇 . Idiot dyi😢
So, where did you find the duplicate fob?
Thank you soo much brother. You just made me save 150 that some one was gonna charge me from “programing” my 2 remotes. Thank you again!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
I have a question. So my key fob chip doesn’t work, I ordered a replacement from Amazon and attached original cut key to the new fob. How do I get it to program?
YOU WIN!!!
Worked perfectly, thank you
🎉nice
Bro out here saving lives Fr thank you!
Works like a charm on 2016 impala too! Thanks champ!
Did ur impala have an ignition or push to start ?
Thanks bro for tip is working!!
Didn’t work. Both keys stopped working at the same time. I replaced the batteries and it worked once. After driving for a while, tried to lock the vehicle and it didn’t work. Hasn’t worked since. The car still runs if you just use the key, but it will not lock, unlock, or reacts to any button.
Having the same problem, have you found a solution?😢
@@itstrulyj4898 after 24 hours, it just fixed on its own. I followed all the steps but nothing was working. When I came out the next day, it was back to normal. It was weird.
You rock Jonathan ... tried a couple of other ways per supplier and yours is the one that worked perfectly!! Thanks
You saved me about $150 plus tax! Thank you brother!!
😂 thank you

Success! Thanks Bro! 🤙🏻
I just swap out the key tip at the end with a watch removal kit (pay close attention to the pin and notch side for the pin to be removed and re-inserted on the replacement fob). Follow his 10 second rule on each fob and just like that without involving the locksmith.
Where did you buy the new key.
A store
where did they make the new key ?
50 $ is exclusive the workplace hours. I do agree diy is better and fun to do.
Just an FYI, I bought the same tank off ebay for $35 and it lasted 1.5 years before it split on the bottom again. If I were you I would get a universal aluminum tank somewhere.
Hi what did you start to take the reservoir off
always check with eEuroParts.com they has original parts from Jag & Volvo. I have both and good deals not like Auto Zone, Oriley's, Advance bull crap. I found the same reservoir with them for $44 plus shipping. So you are absolutely correct it is CRAZY.
Was hoping you did the install on video. You might want to replace your Positive Crankcase Breather hose going to the PCV valve. The smooth ones are prone to cracking on the underneath side and Jaguar I believe made a recall on those. The one you should get is "ribbed" and won't crack like the smooth one will.
The idiot engineers for jag made the reserve reservoir out of a cheap plastic, making the reserve reservoir on these cars very susceptible to cracking and breaking. I've replaced 6 so far on these cars. You can find a great aluminum replacement online for about $125. Good video! I got rid of my x-type because of the rust issues that infected 03 and older cars. I plan on getting a 05 or newer in the future.
where did you find the aluminum reservoir?
