Bought their album back around 2008 after hearing a single song! Epic stuff!

In my experience, putting OD before fuzz tightens up the sound, but as a result it starts to sound more like a distortion pedal than a fuzz. By contrast, putting drive after fuzz mimics running a fuzz into an already driven amp, and it smooths out the raspiness of the fuzz and makes it sound more what I think fuzz should sound like.

Great video I've been trying to find the tone for gem and I think this is how you do it!

When I build fuzz faces I concentrate all my electrical sorcery on the clean tone with the pedal volume as close to dimed as it can be. Always going for the best SSS Strat/ Tele clean. Then what may for the fuzz part. Often the interior twiddling and transistor choosing is guitar dependent so if somebody wants me to make them one they have to hand over their instrument. Sometimes their guitar treble bleeds have to go on a switch. FFs really are the best boost pedals ever for single coils.

Thanks so much for uploading. One of my favorite albums, and it has at times been impossible to listen to outside of used CDs.

Ever since they took this down on Spotify I've been craving it more and more. Saw these guys wayyyyy back in 2005 I believe it was. In an old abandoned church, middle of nowhere Indiana. I was floored. To this day, I am still floored. This is an album so close and dear to me, I never show anyone. Words can't even begin to explain what these songs have got me through, and I need them now more than ever. I will reform to what I was. And come back whole again.

This band was my entire highscool carreer. Saw them live twice and still to this day the best shows ive seen. Beat kitchen in 08,07. Chills as i type this. Life dosemt stop yall. Music is a time machine !!! Thank you for posting this. Cant find the album anywhere
