@DaveGesswin-hl8ht That's a good question. I recently had that issue with this one, but it came out of it. I have mine hooked up with a Mr.Heater brand propane hose to a 20lb. tank. One morning, it was doing what you described, and what I ended up doing was turning it on and just letting the pilot run for a few minutes before turning it on to low. Once I turned it on to low, I let it run for about 10 min (or as long as I could before it went out). Eventually, it stayed on, and then I would keep turning it up slowly until it would stay on at high, and it eventually worked its way out of it. I'm not sure what caused it. Maybe there was something that was restricting the gas flow because, when it wasn't staying on, the pilot seemed really weak. Sorry, I know this probably didn't help much, but maybe worth a try if you haven't tried it already. Keep me posted if you get it figured out, and I'll do the same.

I'm not sure, to be honest. But, I have been using the non-stick surfaces to cook with for decades and so far nothing has come from it.

@@AROoutdoors Non-stick coatings made anywhere are toxic except for like ceramic. But nothing's going to kill you right away lol

Thanks man! A smaller shelter is easier to keep heat though. I have been thinking of upgrading to a larger shelter but the more square foot area you have the harder it is to keep warm and I may end up having to need another big Buddy heater depending on how cold it is.

Awesome! That's a great suggestion too! Its funny you say that though, because I have been thinking about that and a designated battery for only electronics is actually what will be coming next.

I have 2 litime 12 volt 100 amp heated batteries wired in parallel for my 24 volt minnkota on my Jon boat and so far so good and also very light. I’m switching my windshield boat over to dual or triple 36 volts as when you wire them in parallel the amps are additive. Also putting a dedicated 16 volt litime for electronics in that boat.

That is a good suggestion and I thought about doing that, but I like to have the electronics directly in front of me like this so that I can watch my rod tip and the screen with minimal movement. Its not a deal breaker for me though because I still have and use this unit and is working pretty good.

Dang man I am sorry to hear that! I do know these boxes do differ a little depending on the region you're located at, but I was sure that everyone would get at least some of the baits that I got too. I am going to investigate this as well because if this is true then I need make it known that every box could be drastically different. I deeply apologize for this. Please keep me updated to what you find out and I will do the same.

I got word back from MTB about this. Here is word for word what they told me: "Our subscription boxes will not be the same for all of our subscribers and additionally, all of our subscription boxes are specifically assigned based on the history of your account history with us and you should never receive the same product or box twice. Some subscribers will receive the same box as another customer or may have some overlap with items received, but ultimately, our goal is to provide a new assortment of lures for all of our anglers." MTB I apologize to you guys, I should have given you all a heads up about this. I do think its pretty cool that they have the mindset to aim for a new assortment of lures in each box though. I hope this helps clear things up. If you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Yes. They responded with basically the same thing. I didn’t get the redesigned box and I got none of the baits in your box. I got 3 crankbaits that are not great quality, a pack of harmony hooks, 4 bags of plastics, a blade bait and a Carolina kit. That will be my last box for a while if ever. Now I remember why I cancelled my subscription.

@@NuFishin I'm sorry to hear that man. I do admit I have received some boxes that weren't great, so I completely understand. When I got a box like that, I think of it as a challenge. So, I took it fishing right away and challenged myself to catch a fish on every lure. I stuck with it and every once in a while, I get a great box like this one and then also every once in a while, I will get a not-so-great box like what you got. I'll cross my fingers for you to get a great bounce back box if you stick with the subscription. If you gotta take a break from it thats ok too. I've taken a break from it a few times as well. @Fatboybart Yeah, to be honest, there is usually a couple catch co and or googan baits lures in just about every box still but they have been adding more of some other brands like Z Man, net bait and Strike King lately which is great because you get a nice variety.

@silentdeath8351 That would make it better, but I like to have the screen somewhat near my rod tip so I can simultaneously see them both somewhat. Still a good unit though. I still have it as a backup just in case.
