I can also confirm that this is the only thing that worked BUT I couldn’t punch it hard enough apparently so I just covered my hammer with a kitchen towel and hit it with my hammer. So crazy how hard they make that.

Can’t believe this video is 4 years old. lmao. just bought a samsung curved monitor couple of days ago & was returning it since wife wanted a new computer which already has a monitor. Struggled for half an hour, got frustrated & googled to see how to break the samsung monitor apart. Google recommended this video. Watched it & followed advice to put the bottom back on the stand. Then whacked the bottom plate just like in the video & it popped right out easily. Awesome youtube video for those who have the samsung curved monitor. 👍

I ended up putting a sharp knife into the join and prying it open because I didn't have the strength to pull it apart ( it is already mounted ). But at least after watching this video I knew it was actually possible. Have had the screen for more than one year mounted on arm with neck still attached 🤣🤣🤣 #2024
