Istvaan III The End
Просмотров 260 тыс.Год назад
Istvaan III, also spelled as Isstvan III in Imperial records, was an Imperial Civilised World in the Istvaan System of the Segmentum Obscurus. Its population was destroyed by a virus-bombing ordered by the Warmaster Horus during a major deployment of Space Marine Legion forces at the end of the Great Crusade in 005.

When a yorvic gets bored he makes this stuff sound is called shooting stars by bag raiders go watch it
Loyalist emperors children are my favorite bunch of heroes in all the imperium. Long live the Palatine Host.
Rest easy, Saul Tarvitz. Loyal to the end 🫡
Don’t forgot the moment Eidelon killed apothecary Varro when he was tending to the wounded and in the middle of saving another space marine. I think he managed to just save a space marine from bleeding out when Eidelon stepped in front of him carrying his hammer. “Who are you?” Varro asked, already knowing the answer. “Your death.” Eidelon answered, before taking his hammer and smashing Varro’s skull in 😢. Varro was the apothecary that was taking care of Horus after the space marines brought him back aboard their ship. After killing him, Eidelon then went to the rest of the wounded marines awaiting Varro’s attention
I finished this book like two minutes ago and this paragraph really beautiful yet it's so😢
Weep not for Rylanor Avenged him, he avenged them all
did you voice this, I love it❤
They didn’t JUST remember; history never forgot.
The world eaters are one of the most tragic chapters for me. Angron is the most tragic primarch for me. I feel deeply what angron felt. I too feel like I died along time ago with my brother. I too have tried to kill myself. The world eaters tried so hard to be good sons for angron.
Saul Tarvitz. I miss you so. I miss you so much. Just under Sanguinius.
Man I come back to this vid every so often. Gives me chills each time…..
Loyalist world eaters are awesome
Saul Tarvitz was the greatest chad ever. What a Legend.
Snowfall works really well here
"shooting stars punch through the dark clouds overhead, scorching holes through which the stars could be seen. The stars shone down on the coral city in time to watch the city die" such a beautifully sad imagery, 40k writing can be so peak sometimes
"As Saul Tarvitz and the few remaining loyalist Astartes looked up at the skies, they knew their doom had finally come. As the explosions raged around them, they knew they had remained loyal to the Emperor. Right to the very end."- Janovich, Introduction to the Horus Heresy Lore 02- Galaxy in Flames.
No other franchise hit that spot like this .
Those who died for Him will have a Life Eternal.
Hoy termine de leer la galaxia en llamas y solo me quedé llorando 😢
This is the peak of Warhammer for me.
Man i had just finished galaxy in flames. I was so sad. I went into the heresy quite blind to the story, so i grew attached to alot of the characters (Tarvits, Torgaddon, Loken, even lucius, abaddon, and aximand) the whole betrayel had me aching 🥺
This is when real men cry
There are many reasons why I love the world eaters, one of the main reasons is that they are probably one of the most tragic legions
Horus aximand cried when he took the head of Tarik torgaddon, and further more when Garvial died, Aximand had the seed of doubt set in him by their own treachery.
It was all the way back in False Gods too when he had to be pressured into letting them heal Horus on Davin
Istvan 3 is proof the traitors were never righteous in their rebellion and were nothing more than backstabbing cowrds
some of the primarchs had good reasons to hate and want to kill the Emperor but selling your souls to the forces of hell and butchering your brothers and the people they were created to save has no moral merits whatsoever lol
EREBUSSSSSSSSSS, TRAITORS. Never forget.
Chaos Fans Before reading Galaxy in Flames: "Ha! Yes! The glorious revolt against the CORPSE EMPEROR SHALL BEGIN!! DEATH TO THE FALSE EMPEROR, BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!" Chaos Fans After Reading Galaxy in Flames:... ....fuck you Horus.
This makes even the most hardened men cry in sadness. Even in the brink of death, they were more loyal than rest of the Traitorous Scum
“COME ON THEN! YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN THAT!” captain saul tarvitz to a imperator titan.
i feel horrible for the mournival
It is a tragedy. Maybe the biggest tragedy I've ever come across in fiction.
I don't know if this will make anyone feel better. But Trazyn stole a whole bunch of randoms from this battle. so no matter what, exactly 1 skeletal boi built a gallery to remember this conflict, it and they accompanying Istvan IV peice are very impressive portions of the Gallery dedicated to the Herasy.
Wouldn't it be great if Saul Tarvitz was among them, and he and Clonegrim get the chance to not only rebuild the Emperors Children Legion but also lay a righteous amd perfect smack down on Daemon Fulgrim, Lucius and Eidolon?
Is this galaxy in flames? Of the flight of the eisenstein?
Galaxy In Flames
@@Yorvics thank you
I come back to this video cause this is how I think on my life and most of what I deal with just helps idk know I'm defeated but I'd never give in knowing I did do something while being nothing ... Idk just wanna not feel so bad but hey lol that's life
Bro the betrayal in combination with Snowfall from Oneheart destroyed me 😭😭
"There were not death guard in their numbers" That almost makes me cry
We deny you your Victory!!!!
Fuck can you imagine how great a live action Istvaan 3 would be if they build it up? Like that would be one of thee greatest story telling of film making of all time if done right.
The greatest most noble end and the greatest and most noble brothers to ever exist.
Im not crying, your crying
Which book this from
Galaxy In Flames the 3rd book in the horus heresy series
With so much unlimited amount of lore and content, it is easy to forget this tragedy, so i have to go bsck every once in a while to not forget, Tarvitz is one of the greates unsung heroes of the Imperium
Did you make this all yourself? I love this reading, and wish you would do more. I've come back to this video many times, and I finally got round to reading the Horus Heresy. When I reached the end of Galaxy in Flames I listened to your video as I read along this passage.
I've watched this many times
Tarvitz was right, you know. The Loyalists at Istvaan did hurt the Traitors. Horus had wished it to end quickly, and thanks to the Loyalists, it took far longer and took far more resources than Horus wished to use. Plus their efforts allowed some of the Loyalists, like Nathanial Garro, to escape and warn the Imperium. They died better men than any traitor that survived.
Never Forget. There were more Loyalist World Eaters on Istvaan III than any other Legion…
Girls: "Do boys even have feelings?" Boys:
🫡🥲
damn somehow every time i hear here i somehow get sadder
*Let it be forever known there were more loyalist World Eaters on Istvaan III than all the other legions...*
That is because they were had enough of Angrons BS and his murderous/uncaring leadership.
And one of them nearly cut off Angron's head. Based as hell
@@benjamintim3542 And the marine who nearly did it actually got treated as a son by Angron and even getting him to smile.
I actually was listening to this audiobook at work and once it got to this point I was actually tearing up
