In todays episode we fab the radiator mounts and the radiator shroud and install everything into the engine bay. I decided to use a large aluminum radiator over using the stock radiator so I would not have to worry about keeping the engine cool. The radiator also has a built in trans cooler.       Thanks for the comment, life has been busy this past year, a lot has been filmed, but nothing edited. Technically the truck isn't quite dailyable yet, but is a lot closer. Seeing this might push me to edit the next video, I promise it's will be a good one.

    Good morning! I just wanted to comment on your video series on this S10 LS swap. First of all, I'm a newly retired mechanic. I spent all of my career working on trucks and heavy equipment. My last 25 years was with King County Metro Transit in Washington state. But I want to make this comment about you, not me. I've watched all of your S10 LS swap videos, many of them more than once. I really appreciate the father/son interaction that you've demonstrated on this project. Your relationship with your father is one that is missing in so many young man's lives today. This is also the reason I believe that we are seeing such an increase in crime today, no doubt in my mind. I also really appreciate the sheer level of patience that you've so well demonstrated in this project! You definitely have what it takes to be a great technical leader. Whatever technical field that you work in, you will be a great asset to their operation. I'm sure that you know by now, great techs are becoming very rare. Keep up the great attitude and the awesome desire to figure things out. "Mechanical aptitude" is defined as "a measure of a technical or engineering candidate's mechanical reasoning and mechanical comprehension to succeed in their domain. It implies possessing a theoretical and practical knowledge of mechanics and mechanical associations." I'm in the process of completing my second LS swap. The first one was installing a LQ4 6.0L and 4L80 transmission into a 1980 Camaro. The current one is a 1995 GMC S15 Sonoma. I'm using the same engine/transmission combination on this project. Again, just a shout out to you for all of the time that you've spent documenting this awesome project! As you've so well documented, stuff doesn't always go as planned. But how you've delt with those setbacks is what shows your true character. Great job!

    Leeson for everyone before covering your wires make sure u turn on your enginefirst if theres an issue with wiring u gonna do all that for nothing. Another thing u should have done is ussed all ground into 1 heavy duty gauge wire into 1 single location easy acces place

    I replined entire harness 1 wire at a time make sure u label every single wire to its correspondent location on pcm

    Is real simple never install the upper bolt behind tranny or the one going upward in driver dide those are pain in rear

    If you used heads from the other engine I hope you hot tanked those and push rods as well and blew air through all the oil galleys. Also I don't know if you used the oil pick up I would suggest that you don't your asking for trouble buy getting a piece of metal into the oiling system. Good luck with build.
