Such a surreal experience for me, I was fortunate enough to be the grand finale at my high school talent show. You know, I’ve been out of high school for 30 years and I can still remember some of the performances at our senior talent show. Stuff like this will always be remembered by everyone he went to school with. That’s part of the great memories of high school. You don’t always know the hidden talents of some of the people that you go to school with. Sometimes that completely changes your opinion of them too.

To be fair, he made quite a lot of mistakes, but they don't subtract one iota from the brilliance of this performance. It was/is not an easy piece, and to be THAT GOOD at THAT AGE on a stage in front of your entire school makes it all the more a tremendous accomplishment. Bravo! I've been playing since I was 14 and played in the high school jazz band. I'm a pretty decent player now (classic rock) but it's also 40 years later. I wasn't in the same galaxy (see what I did there? 😏) as this young gentleman.
