BDE (Billet Duratec & Ecoboost) block fasteners
In this video we show and explain some of the strength benefits to the ARP fasteners we have chosen for our BDE (Billet Duratec & Ecoboost ) blocks.
With 4 bolt mains that provide 2 and a half times the clamp load, and larger 12mm Custom Age 625+ headstuds that also reach down deeper into the strongest parts of the block these blocks are setup for massive amounts of power.

Good video. I have a question. I recently redid the head gaskets on a family members car. Once I put everything together, I’m having an issue with it saying that I’m not getting fuel on the rail. But I’m sure it is. The timing is off. Do you have a video of doing the complete timing where you have the timing chain cover off? Unless is it possible for me to time the engine without taking the timing chain cover off? Mind you I have had the timing chain off because I did the head gasket. Thank you in advance.

Sometimes I worry about engineering with these blocks. While they are indeed far superior in many aspects to oem, they also don’t have anywhere close to the r&d budget. I know block design is quite complex if your goal is long term reliability and not just ability to handle raw power. My concerns could also be unwarranted due to lack of knowledge.

This is another great video but doesn't explain how to set the cams on an engine that has had a catastrophic failure of the cam belt.. ive reground new valves in, replaced everything, even bought the correct timing kit but the cambelt is still half a tooth out from settling into both sprockets, if I go the wrong way it will be a tooth out and I'll be doing the whole job again! There is nowhere that explains how to set the cams perfectly on the 1.0 ecoboost engine!.

Nice quick overview when everything was already set up and working. The hard part is when the engine is being assembled and adjustments are needed to the timing wheel and cam buckets. That would be much more useful and I hope to see those in the future.

Yeah, I'm really interested in a set of cams from y'all, but I'm not 100% confident that I know what I'm doing in terms of adjusting valve lash on a Duratec 2.0. If you could elaborate on that (preferably with the engine in the car), that would help me to come up with the $1,000 to send you to get the grind going. (I am for real, I have the car tuned with full bolt-ons at present.)
