I have seen an interesting what if "I know the sliver queen is dead." how ever I think have a sliver Planeswalker would be sick. I have came across this on the internet and I was wondering what a sliver planeswalker would look like a sliver planes walker. {2}{w}{u}{b}{r}{g} all colors. As long as The {cardname} s in the command zone or on the battlefield, planeswalker you control are sliver creature with power X/X where X is equal to the number of slivers in your graveyard. Other sliver spells you cast cost {2} less to cast? I don't know what else I thought it would be neat if this planeswalker have Eminence - .

This deck wants some Land Grants, to make archeologist more consistent at finding lands (at the cost of making rumble worse...)

Ive been playing a Jeskai Ephemerate-esque build but with Discharge, Jolted, and Tune. Ive been doing pretty good with that list and I think its probably the best home for those cards in this format.

I really don't like rumble. I get why it's here but it feels super clunky when most of the time you care about your spells. Maybe just some other cantrip would be better?

For tip 2, I’d recommend running Rats of Waterdeep from the DMGuild by Will Doyle, one of the guys who worked on Tomb of Annihilation. It has a really cool scene where you get to introduce the Xanathar to your players at level 1

Where I am from we hardly find "playing cards" (those ones you mostly play at casinos) and if one day I want to play MTG then the only way to do so is by creating proxies. I am making my own hanafuda deck :)

37:05 you could try a cast down in response to first acitvation. they only have one mana up, so if they activate again, you can prismatic. If they let it die, you also get to prismatic

I’ve been playing this deck for a couple months and the last 3 events I went 3-0 and 2-1 x2. Such a sweet deck! I don’t miss the blue and run 2x bushwhacker for a little extra fun

Just because someone suspects a person, weapon, or room, doesnt mean theyre not holding it. If i want a specific answer, i will intentionally go to a room i have and guess a person or weapon i have.

There's this pervasive idea that allowing proxies will necessarily make casual formats like commander more competitive, and not only is this idea flawed because it assumes that only the wealthy and well off should be allowed to play high level commander, but also ignores that the freedom proxying offers goes both ways. Before proxying decks, I would never pay for a deck under $700-800, why would I spend my hard earned money on cards that are barely playable compared to the cards I could have if I just saved up for a few months? Now thanks to proxies, I have a wide variety of power levels because I don't have to feel bad about spending money on cardboard anymore. Before I would never waste my money on a $200 deck that would hardly win a single game, now Anhelo Spell Copy Mill is one of my favorite decks and it's complete garbage, but I love my garbage boy. Proxying doesn't just make the game more accessible to those who can't afford good cards, it removes the need to make hard financial decisions and allows people who would normally be far more selective with their purchases to play with lame cards no one would ever buy. I have a $100 dragon tribal deck that I built just for fun as a personal deck building challenge, if I had to spend money on it, that deck wouldn't exist because the individual cards are just not worth buying. Also just a personal anecdote: I've never met a proxy player who didn't have a range of decks at different power levels nor have I heard anyone complaining about proxies ever site and example of a time a proxy player pubstomped them. Not saying it doesn't happen, but it seems like a largely hypothetical situation that doesn't actually happen very often. Not to tip the scale too much here, but the only time I've had a player walk away from a game frustrated over my proxies was a game where I clearly communicated what my deck was (Malcolm/Kediss pirate combo), what power level it was at (around an 8, maybe tickling at 9), what combo pieces to look out for (even explaining the glinthorn combo, the strongest combo in the deck, in explicit detail), and even pointing out that I was only proxying the deck until I could purchase all the cards, with most of the more expensive pieces already having been purchased by that point, all before he even selected his deck. He got crushed and said "I wouldn't even be this upset if the cards were real" as if he couldn't request that I play a lower power deck prior to starting the game. It was literally just an "I'm salty and I wanna undercut your win" comment.

I'm late to the vid but I hope you see my comment, as I'm a custom game designer with a specific need I can't seem to find anywhere online, and maybe you can help! I would like to create digital booster packs for my game and allow other people to open those packs. I've been informed that MSE allows users to upload non-Magic cards, but I worry that my game might not play nice with MSE, as all of my cards are double-sided, and other differences besides. Can you think of any in-browser experience that allows for a creator to upload sealed digital booster packs of custom game cards, that others can subsequently access in an intuitive way? Thank you!

Play full proxy cubes. Ggs 66 dollars to play with common cards and not even the best decks in the format... No way.

The best and most useful card in the game IMO is green houses. It’s so cheap, you should buy it every time you have a chance, starting, early, middle and late game, you will always use it late game to get you enough greens to make one greenery, for a cost of just 6 mc is a steal. Sure other cards if set up up properly are better, but since green houses is soo efficient and needs almost no set up, just cities to be played which each game has at least 5, it’s the most useful card in the game. I cannot tell you how many times I passed on AI central cause I didn’t have the right set up so it wouldn't have been worth it. I never pass on green houses

I got a playset of that lil' rat! I've been buying lots of packs at the dollar store in february to start my collection,. . I like to brew decks, it's my 90% way of making dfecks, basically 10% net info max. Love getting the basic cards to have the stuff to see through and build any strategy i want, then get the singles for rares and mythics. Been getting 8$+tx canadian for boxes of singels (commuons & uncos) at the LGS for the past 3-4 months getting all their boxes when they are ready of what stock they don't list as singles for sale. Pioneer & pauper galore each time !!!

been buying 8$ Canadian dollars boxes of "commons & uncos" at the LGS for a couple months. They got 4 filld since then and i got em all. Gotta work on my Pioneer and pauper decks !!!!! I started in january 2024 ... so those formats are havens for me
