​@showingaustin well I got it for cycling/mountain biking and with my previous drone (skydio2) I am able to do that. It's nice to be riding and then if you come across a nice landscape you also want to capture, you can just change it from lets say "follow me" to "side track" or have it zoom out .

Ah sorry I haven’t shot it vertical as I always need horizontal but it should be similar quality

You are very welcome. Thanks for watching! There isn’t a need to exit per se as you can select your mode in the app or from the device before flight. I personally check my settings on the app and choose manual before starting the app.

Exactly. Just here to share the results of the test when I just got it, which was awhile ago.

Hi ZZR says 120 m but the app doesn’t show the height. Don’t confuse this with the transmission distance of 500m w the app and 1km w the beacon and joystick.

For the Neo, I only used it this one time for less than 10 minutes, and only used manual mode, so I didn’t even have time to try RTH.

Thank YOU! I also found the Neo controls to be extremely difficult to see, even in shade, and showed that in my Neo video. As for manual controls on the phone, they are definitely very responsive and I have gotten so comfortable with them that I canceled my order for the expensive Beacon and Joysticks - since it had already taken over month to get them - not to mention there have been reported issues with them and the software.

Thank you! I don’t have the beacon and joysticks yet - ordered them a month ago. And, the software seems to be changing the ability to choose 8K and I haven’t tried it or found it yet.

I do plan on doing a walkthrough of a property soon. I am not completely sure what you mean by “on-camera dolly track” with this device?

@showingaustin one of my use cases for the device would be to film my own video intros/outros for my listing videos. Dolly track is a mode that allows the drone to fly in front of you, filming you as you walk and talk. It would be helpful to see that in action, if you're able.

@@UofTguy Got it. I have used Dolly Track to go forward, and I did a similar one with the HOVERAir X1 in Follow Mode to follow me around the home, whereas you just need to be really careful maneuvering. And, I do plan on doing some with the PROMAX soon when the right property comes along to use. However, I would use Follow mode more so as I walked through a property. Stay tuned!

Thank you! Yes, manual 4K 60fps. I have not tried 8K and you can’t even publish it. I prefer CapCut for efficiency but I do live Davinci Resolve.

Hi again YES you can adjust exposure in Auto mode. It allowed me to do so in Follow mode today.

Thanks for watching! I am not sure if you are referring to the edited cuts at 0:51 and 2:01 or in general since the drone is always moving, albeit in slow motion. I don’t see how it deteriorates with movement. I think it’s pretty darn smooth, especially in slow motion with buildings. And, a heck of a lot smoother than the original X1 with better wind resistance.

ZZR lists up to 120 meters but the app doesn’t show me how high in US yet.

I totally agree! What issues have you encountered?

@@showingaustin In no particular order: basic capabilities that the X1 has like snapshot mode and HDR photos, occasionally it forgets it has a micro SD card, the voice s-stutters occasionally when switching flight modes, occasional it will lose track of me while just hovering and..just hover, the video quality seem to be on par with the og X1, smart gesture control doesn't work although the app lists it as an option, the X1 has in app gimbal calibration - maybe the Pro/Max doesn't require it. The flight time, tracking, data xfer, and general build quality is better. I just wish they designed it with a built in gimbal lock or something to keeps it from getting bumped or pushed too hard in one direction when not in use. I don't remember if Hoverair started the whole foldy pocketability, but putting it in my pocket only makes me scared for the gimbal. That seems like an unnecessary weak point.

@@BackwardTravisty thanks for the specifics! It helps us all. I have two recurring issues myself: 1) the video button does not always start recording a video whereas I have to restart the app and drone and 2) the app lost a connection w the drone when it got an estimated 80-100 feet high (since the app doesn’t show the height) as the app just spun in the monitor and the video itself froze while that was occurring.

@@BackwardTravisty Fortunately, it still stayed in the air until I closed the app, relaunched it and then was able to Return To Home. I specifically and responsibly fly in wide open areas in case it comes down uncontrollably.
