Hiking the Pyrenees: A 3-Day Journey Along 20 Scenic Lakes
Once a year, I manage to escape for a few days to go on a hike. This time, I decided to explore the French Pyrenees. After carefully studying the route, I chose a three-day trek along 20 lakes. In July, I finally had the chance to make it happen. The weather was perfect, the conditions were ideal, with hardly anyone else on the trail, and the experience was incredibly rewarding. I covered 55 ki...

Great interview, thx
Andrey is awesome! Been following him since a couple years ago, very inspiring.
Watching this whilst my single workstation is rendering a fluid simulation out.. It will be running for almost a week and probably turn out completely wrong but I am addicted to VFX. When I was in school circa 93' I asked my IT teacher about designing things in 3d using a computer, I was quickly shut down, just like I was from my parents. Through the years I spent what I could on software and hardware but it was just too expensive, add the expense of any kind of training to this and my life long desire to be involved within VFX faded into oblivion. I have recently been made unable to work so my career in construction has vanished along with my ability to lead a normal life and now I'm perpetually confined to my apartment, so here I am, using all this new found spare time to do nothing else but music production and vfx, maybe it's not too late to make something of what's in my head 24/7...thank you for the inspiration
I recently ran across these two options for bargain-basement render farming; I haven't tried em, but I intend to soon-ish... ruclips.net/video/D0vvWMbur_o/видео.html ruclips.net/video/0h0VTctEPJk/видео.html

Excellent interview with a favorite artist of mine 🙌🙌🙌
Great in-depth interview. Thank you for making it and Lebrov for his time. I agree with everything said, it’s an endless journey learning will never stop as a vfx/cg artist. Keep up the good work! 🎉
I was excited when I heard about the interview being made! Finally Andrey gets to talk about himself.
Like the Pyrenees, went there on a school journey in the late 60s and returned in the mid 80s on a joint parachute/climbing expedition with the UK Military working out of Pau. In fact, that year was when 2 Frenchman leaped from a mountain top with squares and low and behold PARAPENTE was born! Watched the news article on french news 👍👍🪂🪂
wow.. I didn't know that. Thank you for the history lessons 👍
@@Andrey_Ostrikov yes mate September /October 1986, I took the sport up in 1987 and my business produced the very first dedicated Parapente harness in the UK. A basic model but still very much lighter, more comfortable and better than the Ex Parascending harnesses schools were using at the time 👍👍🪂🪂
@@carldowd406 That's really impressive! It must've been amazing to see the sport grow from the early days and be part of its development.
@@Andrey_Ostrikov yeah tbh honest Andrey it is and it all progressed very quickly. I was very aware during my parachute career that free-fallers were using places like Rhossili beach in Wales to kinda ridge soar but mountain launching developed very quickly. I had a British mountain guide come to me once to sell for him second hand what he thought was a paragliding canopy when it was actually a free-fall Rig 🤣🤣🤣🤣
