@robc5520 very valid points and totally understand what you're saying. However, ctw/5/8 duel does not do much for me. Add Douehi's injury history and then if and where he even plays at this time, with limited news,preseason and eyes on him for the eye test I'm not interested at all. There is no doubt he has talent. But early Jan not for me now especially at that price in 5/8 when there are some solid option at sameish prices. Howarth however I'm extremely high on. That price and priced on an average that incorporates 3 low minute games, a full preseason at CTW on that edge yes please!!!!! Trav

@leagueofinches Still got no pack mate. May better have some strong legs because he's gonna be carrying the team. Luai won't be getting it served up on a platter, to pick his moments. Got ??? On Bulla as a FB, I think he's a winger and I know that's probably an unpopular opinion but he doesn't put himself in good positions in attack, runs his outside players out of room a lot and gets forced to surrender in tackles, kills our attack imo. But he's seems to be a favourite because he's got "potential"

I wasn't a fan but the way he played last World Cup, and in origin and fir Penrith when no Cleary, he has proved me wrong. Was just as good as Cleary growing up, according to everybody who watched them. Korisau with Luia is a huge plus, but yeah I'm tipping improvement and top 15 for the Tigers.

​@leagueofinches yeah well in Fantasy I am 100% starring him, as you get the kick meters, in SC he is only back up plan if no Cleary, as don't see value in other halves options, though TMM does appeal. Why is nobody talking about TMM? Great figures last year when half, when SJ out.

@@leagueofinchesit depends on what position they play. Unlikely to make much difference at prop. If anything they might get more minutes because it’s a tough game. But for backs it’s massively relevant. To place this in perspective, the only half that scores better against top 8 teams than bottom 9 teams in Munster.

​@mudgut69 agree irrelevant in middle forwards, but 2RFs and backs, particularly outside backs the draw, and bigger scores matter a lot, especially in SC (compared to Fantasy, where attacking stats are worth less), but feel the draw matters more second half of season when we know who are the worse trams this season, and injuries hit and scores blowout more and motivation drops for a few teams.

@@mudgut69 yep backs I certainly agree. Early on it seems much harder to get the large scores as well, It’s hard to see a hard or easy draw though. Most teams are very even on paper actually

@ agree. It’s a fair draw. I think it’s confusing some people because they are looking at last year’s finishing position. You need to look at teams like the Roosters and realise that with their player losses plus injuries to Walker and Cheese they are an 8th to 11th team early on. The Broncos on the other hand are borderline top 4. The Dragons will defend a lot better. The Rabbits will improve under Bennett. Then you can see a few opportunities. The Knights are the team to target early.

@leagueofinches Richo hasn't missed yet; I expect that to continue. Already, they are vastly improved over 23/24. Off the field, their new Empower Community program has been a great success; they just hosted the first Tigers Youth Pacifica program. They have opened an office in Campbelltown and fixed the board, with a new, fully independent board about to be selected under strict skills matrix criteria. Secured funding for home grounds, heavily invested in pathways, and signed Jarome, May, Taruva, Hunt, Pole, Skelton, and, best of all, Makasini. But none of that gets reported it's just negative.

@@hazamat3222 we have been very positive in most of what we have said about the tigers so far. Recruitment is very impressive. But unfortunately success has been so far gone now that that stigma is with the club until you play finals again
