I started learning Dark Souls some time ago and this run actually has some solutions to problems that I encountered (was learning from other runs before), will use them 100%. Mostly: 1) crescent axe as it kills skeletons at Nito. 2) Ornstein and Smough reset, as I believe it resets their state so Ornstein doesnt run to the left (not sure about it), it makes it easier for me to practice this way. Nice run, i especially like the very quick cut off and use of the Gargoyle Tail Axe, never seen that before. Also, i watched tons of speedruns now, but killing Sif still feels like a crime to humanity 😢

I'm really no expert, but what was the point in blocking the attacks of the hallow people before the gargoyl boss fight? Does doing that stop them from hitting you on the way up the ladder, or something? I'm confused why you stopped to block their hit there.

I'm so intriqued that you took a certain route to get the red tearstone ring. The damage boost it gives must have been worth it? And this is just the former glitchless speedrun record? What's the new glitchless speedrun record? (I'm baby new to the speedrunning community, i am so intrigued)

I'm no expert in speed running by any means, but couldn't you have dodged that first arrow to prevent being staggered, to save time?

42:30 How is he not taking damage here? Can someone explain? I am trying to speedrun the game as well but no matter what I do I always take damage on this part. Is it something with animations or does this part have very specific "safe zones" ?

How come you didnt light the quelana bonfire after you killed quelaag? Surely that would save you having to run back through blightown later after you got the lordvessel?

Glitchless runs are more interesting because the player is less powerful and fights all the mandatory bosses. Useful for runs of your own.
