OK Healing Low Deflection Shootout
#PlayingPool with my #OKHealing 12.9mm and 12.4mm carbon fiber cue shaft.
With a dodgy AI voice over adding a slice of cheese, I'm testing the deflection to see how a budget shaft from #Temu compares to the shafts in my other Low Deflection Shootouts.

Can you test the Universal UN114 also sold in Europe as U1 to U4 (depending on colour). I‘ve heard it‘s a great LD cue and be interested how it compares to the avid. Cheers
Great review! Very helpful. It would be great if you can test their 11.75mm shaft. I have this and performs similar to my predator z3.
@jellysideup thanks mate. Yeh a smaller tip diameter will usually perform better. But I'm hoping to get my hands on an SMO from jflowers next, be awesome if they send me one :)
As an intermediate player, this was a really well performed experiment! helped a lot
@nextechproductions2916 thanks man, glad it was of some value to you, thanks for watching 👊
Temu link: share.temu.com/8ZnDSqnHKFA
Fantastic!
@silvercue9625 thanks buddy 👊 these cues play really well, great value.
Great share bro. I'm kinda stuck on wood though 👍🎱👊
@nicholaswilliams8470 love an experiment and this one was a fail 😆 back to wood for now 👊
Nice testing! I’m using Rhino shafts from Hanoi. To me, they seem very similar to Cuetec Synergy But an inch longer and about half the price
@silvercue9625 thanks man. Although this one looks the part it doesn't measure up, sticking to my Predator for now, thanks for watching! Wonder why the Rhinos are an inch longer?
I'm using the 12.8 mm Rhino. Slightly lower deflection than my Cynergy 12.5 (or is it 12.4?). Rhino is very good shaft, but the tip...not so much. Rhino plays better if you put a Kamui soft on it.
@@JohnBowl14690 i’m not a Kami fan, but I replaced the tips on all of my Rhino shafts With high-quality medium soft tips. I have 14 carbon fiber shelves and I think about half of them are rhino.
@@JohnBowl14690 Thanks John, might have to look into these Rhino shafts!
You really rolling the dice on a Temu shaft 😅 I'm not going lower than JFlowers 😂
I bought the $300 Jay flowers carbon fiber Cue and it has very high deflection but breaks like a monster! I’m currently using Rhino cf shafts from Hanoi and I think they play very similar to Cuetec Synergy but an inch longer and half the price
@MisterEDit1 unless I buy a new cue I don't have an excuse for table time these days 😆 but yeh this one was a fail, would love an SMO but sticking to my 314 for now.
@silvercue9625 really, jflowers claim their smo is the lowest deflection shaft on the market... would love to test one.
@@DaveSpicerUK the SMO wasn’t available when I bought my JFlowers cue and it’s probably more expensive, but I had no reason to look into it because I’m very happy with the rhino shafts I also bought some of the WHYTE CF Shafts Both black and white and pearl. The white and pearl are just painted and they’re not as slick as the black color ones. .
@silvercue9625 the Whyte cues look decent, wouldn't mind testing those to. If it wasn't for my limited space around the table I'd quite fancy trying a Rhino but that extra inch will add to the wall banging 😆
I didn't see a hit with the predator
@iimiboy hey man, there's a link in the description to the Predator shoot out video 😀 Next I'm planning to do an OKHealing shoot out :) thanks for watching 👊
That SUCKED !
@laverdadesmejor sure did! Three years on and the new cloth is holding up really well :) thanks for watching 👊
why does the dude sound like john madden?lol
@@erickort1987 AI John Madden 😀
do the video with jacoby kielwood low deflection shaft
@erickort1987 hey man, would love to but don't own these cues. I might be doing some OKHealing carbon fiber cues soon :)
I'd have beaten you I think! 😅
@@hobbo2009 😆 most do 😆
We should make a better showing this year! We imported to European talent And we’re playing in a hot and humid environment😃
Have a feeling USA will win this year..
No such thing as bad pizza 🍕 same to be said for B&Rs 😅
@@MisterEDit1 I'll take a bad pizza any time 😁
You need to borrow my nickname. Cue ball control sometimes.
@@CueballcontrolSometimes think i do lol with an amendment... cue ball control + potting a ball sometimes 😅
Got it done tho! Good out!
@@mericanhustle7049 they all count 😆 thanks for watching 👊
I heard uncle Paulie telling me off before every one of these shots 🫣 (except the bank 😂)
Also available on Temu for £30!
Ive a Wood 11.5mm.... love it. But I did sand it down to the wood..... bought the right oils and finishing product from cue makers in England. Super easy to do, enjoyable also but time consuming.... 3 days all in all. The cue is amazing now.... I feel the ash was dry...... the texture and feel is lovely now.... I have a JP for over 30 years... as you say 9mm is small for American 9 ball..... but the Woods is a great option.... especially if you want a one piece.... what it might lack it makes up for any American two piece cue with a joint.... the play feel with an ash one piece is simply the best way.
I've been on a roller coaster with my cues and trying to adapt to american pool. As much as I love my 8mm and this woods cue, my Predator 314 is doing me well, especially when playing 9ball on a 9foot. I've even dabbled with a carbon cue from Woods which was great and way more affordable :) Thanks for watching 👊
If that was any tighter, I'd want to marry it! 🤣
For those asking, the ferrule is 14mm and the tip measures 13.8mm 📏
Hahahaha your reviews are awesome and hilarious hahah
Haha thanks man, glad you enjoyed 🙂
Komparasi yang tidak sepadan... 😅😅
The comparison is against various different brands, PureX, CueTec, Predator, OKHealing 😀
No good.
Too tight. American pool pockets should never go below 4 1/8. Anything tighter is taking away creative shot making skills and instead encouraging safety play.
Yeh, as much as I enjoyed the open this year, it was different, lots of safety, longer games and less flare and creativity. Players were more tentative and concentrated more on fundamentals and hitting the cueball center ball to avoid deflection. From what I understand, the pockets weren't meant to be that small so hopefully this will fixed before the Euripean open.
@@DaveSpicerUK 4.25 is the sweet spot where it is still challenging to pocket but you can still get creative and showcase some flare. I hope matchroom will realize this.
@@BMZdirect yeh 4.25 is spot on and more available for us lot to practice on 😁
Finally, the American pool table without a bucket pocket!
Yeh it was a good call last year when they introduced 4". The tables in the UK Open this year came up slightly smaller than 4" which caused alot of noise!
A bit of extra length is good to get to those extra hard to reach places. That’s what she said.
😆
This is how they should be. The game was way too easy before.
Shot choice is now different and there's alot more safety play, the game is slower unless you're Mohammad Soufi 😆 9ball is loved for having lots of flare, skill and being fast, playing with spin and cheating the pockets, so let's see where this takes the game 😁
Perfect! 🥰
Caught up with some of the players and they said the TV tables were more forgiving than the others :)
Too tight? Let me know your thoughts 👊
They're ruining the sport and trying to make it Snooker in my opinion. Those pocket specs are idiotic.
@bob_daniels_art they are really tough pockets and while it's good to encourage accurate cueists the worry is that is removing the exciting aspects of the game making more akin to Chinese 8ball and British Black ball. Also, for grass roots pool, where can we find such tables to practice on? It's been fun watching safety exchanges but man it has increased game time! Fingers crossed though, Matchroom are doing great things, without them the game wouldnt be what is is atm🤞
Radical joints.
😆
Looks awful
Not the most aesthetically pleasing but they are a great practice aid 👌
This is hilarious! This was my struggle on any fps game, pre City fibre Internet!
I seem to lag on a daily basis these days 😆
This has to be the fastest break and run video on RUclips 😂👍.
I'm still recovering from that 😆
The struggle is real 😅👍.
Massive glitch that day 😆
@@DaveSpicerUK for sure 😀🫥😀👍😂
Great stuff Dave. 😁👍🔥
Thanks Rubster, was a bit of fun, kids loved it 😀
Robocop Dennis orcollo could of dibe it better facts😂😂
Haha!!! I love it!!😂
Thanks man! Getting lots of inspiration from my kids these days, just gotta find some table time 😁
🔥🔥🔥
My kids love the floor is lava game so I started experimenting with green screen :)
😂😂 do you like Monty Python?
All things stupid 😆
@dave-spicer I'm a big family guy and south park fan myself 👍
Love family guy! Never really got into South Park though :)
@dave-spicer Definitely different styles. Family guy jokes get you all of a sudden, but south park laughs build up to humor
@nicholaswilliams8470 yeh some funny stuff in South Park but I'd always end up switching over to the simpsons or American dad 😆
Injuries sustained during this video: - burnt kneecap - re agitated groin strain - holes in socks 👊
So underrated Keep going my guy Loved this video, it was really funny
Thanks man, appreciate the support 👊
That's funny😄😄I like speed pool though. I have neurological injuries that make me play slow most of the time. But if i play for like 6 plus hours i can play some fast pool. But when I quit and go to sleep and wake back up, it all resets and it takes me like 4 minutes to break and run again. Keep shooting bro 👍 🎱 👊
Woah playing for 6 hours, don't think I've ever managed more than 2! Some players are gifted with playing fast, they either see the patterns straight away or have loadsa experience. I'm usually a bit slow but being slow can really help win a mental battle, especially against fast players 😁 thanks for watching 👊
@dave-spicer man it takes me a while for my eyes, brain, and heart to synch up. But when it happens it's hard for me to stop. I've went 17 hours hard nonstop. But when I stop and go to sleep, it all starts over. Well 17 hours requires a full recovery day after. But you know what I mean. When I first start it can take me 5 minutes to bnr. Dude when I'm 12 hours deep I can bnr in 30 seconds. Life is crazy. And health is most important
@nicholaswilliams8470 man that's next level! Ever entered the US open?
@dave-spicer 😄😄 No, I have terrible vision overall. Take care of your health bro
The way my table looks... I can do that to new cloth in a week. 17 plus hours. I no lie brother!!!
certainly more entertaining that most every other pool speed run!!
Thanks man, appreciate that 😀
Always raising the bar.
Pulled a muscle doing that! 😆
Bro, I'm still polishing by hand, one-by-one 😅I need a better way, this might be it!! 🟡🔵🔴🟣🟠🟢🟤⚫
Or you could ask for a helping hand to polish ya balls but didn't go down well when I did... 😆 thanks for watching 👊📼
Here are some top tips direct from 8BallDirect: 1. We recommend to spray the balls on the towel first, then place into the Whizza. This stops the pads from getting too wet. They buff and dry, if they become to saturated, this process will take longer. 2. The aramith ball restorer will clog the pads over time - so please keep an eye on the Facebook page, we might be working / releasing something very soon for this 😉
Thanks for sharing bro!! I need to get one of these. I've been using elbow grease and dish soap for years😄👍🎱
Anytime buddy! Lot to be said for elbow grease but a bucket does really help 🙂
