Alexander Fu Sheng , and his brother were involved in an automobile accident in which Fu Sheng died. At the time of his death, he had not finished filming his role after which the director subsequently rewrote Fu's parts for Kara Wai's 8th child character of The eight diagram pole fighter movie. May you rest in eternal peace.😢❤
So how many Acadamy Best Acting awards did this win? Sponsored by your local dentist.
I never noticed it before but his use of praying mantis, stork & crane technique was spotless. His opponents use of tiger and eagle style was matched.🤠😎👊🏾👊🏾👍🏾
Never impressed by David Chang's martial arts skills.but this one really impressed.he took it up a notch 👍👍👍

Whoa dude
I grew up watching Liu on "Theater of Kung Fu" in the 80s. This was my favorite of his films, but I knew it as "Invincible Pole Fighter." Once you become used to the amazing choreography of these films. the one-punch, one-clip filming style of today's martial arts films is unwatchable.
I always wanted my man's shirt.
Man, that camera work is incredible!!!
I had a similar experience as a youth, not far from my house was a theatre where every friday & saturday at midnight the latest Shaw Bros movies were getting shown, in Cantonese, to a crowd of chinese people. I was usually the only round-eye present, but i never missed my chinese movies. People think of kung fu flicks as having bad sound, but thats only when dubbed. The original audio was always perfect. And my #1 fave actor was, is, and shall always be Gordon Liu.
講中文啦👍
Phim này hay quá.có khuong đại vệ

David Chiang was actually the villain in this movie serving the evil Quin dynasty against the Ming resistors.
That took guts!!
director one day was just like "fuck them teeth"
This is a real kung fu fight. but not everyone masters the technique
Now that's how you deal with traitors.
one of the best martial art movie i have ever seen, Gordon Liu and Kara Hui in their best level
Chanel 5 3 o’clock movies dam I miss hanging with my buds and smoking buds to this82 / 83
The work and dedication from the lead stars are incredible compared to elite actors today

That was insane fight scene 😮
Gordon Lius first movie i watched in 1991 was return to the 36th chamber it was vibrant colourful and the story line was excellent not to mention the choreography was top notch i didnt realise until 2007/8 that it was a trilogy
It's like watching a Hindi movie were the siblings in the early 70s and early 80s movies called each other by just saying began or began meaning sister or the girl would call her brother Bahia meaning brother these old school Hong Kong movies have the same dialogues were they will just say sister. Or brother lol
Bro they went off THE WHOLE ENTIRE TIME, crazy!

Weren't the Ching the bad guys?
The ching were just the ruling class at a certain point in history. Most movies portray them as bad, but not all (i.e. Dirty Ho has a ching protagonist). This movie's a bit odd in that neither the ching (who command David Chiang on his mission by threatening his family) nor the anti-ching Ming loyalists (the pipe guy, and Chiang's father who poisons him at the end) are portrayed as particularly good.
ทำไม ต้อง เอา คน หนุ่ม มาแสดง เป็น คน แก่ ไม่เหมาะ สม เลย
Shadow crane kungfu vs Mantis kungfu off course the mantis prevailed because it is the hero of this movie script😊
The Mantis 😮
Brilliant Classic
1 of the most underrated kung fu flicks ever! 🥋 🥷🏼☝🏾❤️🤞🏾
