Yo, your studio monitors would sound a lot better if they were repositioned side by side with a very slight offset pointing in at one another. They are meant to be listened to with a very specific setup. Hope that helps a little if you care about that sort of thing

I've been looking for a rythem video to fallow. I've seen drums and guitar, but now there is finally a bass one!

If a pick is good enough for Anthony Jackson, Chris Squire, and Carol Kaye, it's good enough for anyone! I started with a pick way back, but switched to my fingers very quickly. Over the past few years I've been working on my pick playing due to hearing Pat Martino's guitar tone, which is kind of bass-like anyway. It's a fun way to play, and a good skill to have.

I can't imagine going back to 4 strings. I'm not big on "tradition" and the 4-string doesn't bring anything else to the table.

More srings = less dick

not to mention you can still tune to drop d on a 5 string if the riffs are easier in drop tuning

It's only superior if its what the gig calls for. I have both and play them for different types of shows.

I just got one, and it is definitely growing on me.
