Do you think I have the same problem on my 8g I would drive the car for like a hour and all of a sudden check engine light comes on and the car has power but does not shift gears

what’s the offset on these?

Do you think they’re better than BC Racing BR series?

What exhaust is that? Im assuming solo but which one did you go with?

there’s this g8 gt im looking at for $9,500 with 155k miles on it with cai. long tube headers. magnaflow exhaust system and a tune and it’s been taking care of. guy bought it in 2011 and put 75k miles on it he rarely drives it now and it is garage kept but idk how reliable the g8s are. what are your thoughts on it ? should i take the chance?

Just couldn't get it together today and the heat wave wasn't helping. I'll install a driver mod for my next track outing.

Attention to aLL car expert. Just using water to cooL down disc brake & brake pad. I suggest about a miliLiter per minute dropping on disc brake directly is very safe whilLe traveling more than 100 mph. to prevent faiL brake due to overheating. Or simply apply radiator on brake pad / disc brake. BECAUSE SAFETY IS EVERYTHING

Did you have to cut your front springs at all?

I traded in my 2010 Challenger Srt-8 w/ 55k miles, manual plum crazy purple in for my current g8 gt. I've owned it for about 7 months now and have only driven it about 1,000 miles. Car has been constantly in and out of the shop. From overheating to lifter failure to massive oil leaks. I now have had the car built and all the gaskets have been replaced. Big cam fbo g8 gt. Now to start cosmetic work. Lifter also failed around 144-145k miles.

When u use the brembos front capliers u have to drill out the holes on the spindle to 9/16 drill bit

Iam doing the same on mine front and back......they are great cars..

What size tire are you running?

When you go to the starting line you put your foot on the brakes and give it a little gas to bring the RPM up that will lower your 60' foot and bring your ET time down....good luck

I ordered a set for my car. I upgraded to a much bigger rim tsize 265/35/20. Do you think I should be concerned about rubbing?

Trust me I know how it feel when your g8 don’t run right it’s a heart stopper lol. But I hope you fix the problem I’m In nc as well mines in the shop getting a new transmission put in

I've limped one a time or 2 lol. Possible you limped your trans? What trans u running? U get the codes pulled??

What's all done to the car? Best 1/4 mile time I've gotten out of mine was a 12.81@103. That was letting off at 1200' trying to go a 13.0 lol. Mine is full KOOKS exhaust, vararam otr intake, ported throttle body, ported intake manifold, 3.45 gears, and tuned by Alex Day. Still having issues with the 3-4 shift hangup.
