If you’re looking for something smaller like this but with a water bottle pocket, I’d say check out the Able Carry Thirteen!

That’s a tough one! Aer city pack has better organization with that front accessories pocket. Able Carry feels a lot smaller too even though there is only a liter difference. But the shape of the Able Carry Thirteen is so slick in my opinion. Really can’t go wrong with either though for EDC. Both comfy as hell too with the bulky shoulder straps.

@@outenthelights yeah the dimensions are interesting because the city pack seems to be the same dimensions as the flight pack, yet 6 liters smaller

50/50. Usually buy Mario games physical and then other ones digital. Not sure why but as I look at my collection it just kind of happened that way ha.

Nice! Yeah I always say everyone packs differently and will bring what is important to them, which is kind of the cool part about packing! It’s tough to pair down to what you need but totally worth it!

Love the Aer slim for edc, it’s at $115 though. For travel, I’m about to test out a 40L from tomtoc that looks pretty nice! That one is at $82. Just got it yesterday so still need to really dive into it - video coming on that next month sometime.

Awesome! Definitely going to snag one! Also thinking about potentially getting an Analogue Pocket because they just look so sharp but the price is holding me back a little.

@@outenthelights yeah those are nice they were just instock this past weekend and they just even release a new one that’s in every single color of the gameboy color I thought that was really neat! But I grew up with the gameboy color myself so it’s nice to have an affordable option to play those old gameboy games and they look amazing and sound is great too!

Thanks for watching! I’d say if you want true water proof, spend a little more on the x pac. It was actually made for sails on sail boats first so super durable too. Cordura is a great option though. They say it’s water resistant compared to water proof so it might not do as well as x pac but honestly I’ve never had a problem with it especially if you’re just getting caught in the rain or something.

It has for me! Not sure about some of the more budget airlines but I’ve flown with it on Southwest, American and United before. Might be more comfortable putting it in the overhead though.

Totally have had that problem too. I usually just try to wash out with warm water before refilling it. Seems to do the trick.

One good way to cleaning it is using those tabs for denture cleaning... fill the bottle with water at night and leave the tab acting while you sleep.

@@outenthelights Oh you bet. Just love that thing. I had the booq bag before that. I used it for 8 years. Great bag as well... but I needed an upgrade. Now I often travel for work, so I need a single bag that I can take on overnight trips. Including the laptop. Aer This works nicely.

Thanks for watching! Congrats on becoming a dad! I have a four week old daughter and have been using this bag as well as the Go Pack 2 as my dad bags and both have been awesome! Sounds like the travel pack 3 small might be a good option as well!

Aer is the best! So well designed for so many different use cases!

My personal preference would be the city pack because it’s smaller at 14L. Also, I’m not a huge fan of the convertible three way bag. I’d rather just have a dedicated backpack, duffel (or tote) and brief case. But I do get how some people find value in the bag being able to be carried in different ways. I’d say it just depends on the use case for the bag. Is this going to be for your commute to work? I also love the slim pack if you don’t need to carry a ton - I use that one the most out of all my Aer bags.
