@@gipsyavenger9829 had to take the badges off the fenders since I just got the car PPF’d well worth it. All the parts I got on it are to keep it a little more reliable pretty much. If you really want cheap power all you need is downpipe, intake, intercooler, flex fuel kit to go E and a tune that should get you in the 400whp range if your only concern is power. I need that awe touring exhaust tho coming soon… appreciate the love ma boy

@@Reptilianoverlord-jc8mt 360whp would be perfect on this car that’s where I’m trying to get to. The car is fun as it is but a little more power wouldn’t hurt. Yea the catch can isn’t really a necessity especially if you are just going fbo and aren’t tracking it all the time. Once you start tracking it and getting it into the higher hp that’s when I would say it’s needed. I personally just got it because the car is my daily and I am planning to keep it as long as possible so anything that can potentially add to the reliability I’ll get.

@@SleepingCivics The hondata dyno tune is night and day difference. 1st gear feels so much better and no more rev hang and just power all the way to the rev range. Make sure you upgrade to PRL rear mount the car feels much better 0 wheel hop no vibration at all compared to other rear mounts that are made out of polyurethane, PRL one is the closest to OEM comfort.

@@emreboz1 the stock suspension is a little stiff but not bad at all. Once I got the swift springs put on yea it got really stiff my butt comes off the seat sometimes lol I would get eibacks they are cheaper and aren’t as stiff and give you the same drop. Road noise depends on the road but for the most part hardly any road noise but on freeway you do hear more and you do hear a lot of rocks hitting the car, but nothing bad enough to hate honestly. I still would recommend this car, everyone I know with this car hasn’t regretted it and the people who sell it are only selling it because they are in a tough spot.

@ Thanks for the reply, I’m currently debating wether or not I should go from my 11th gen Si to the Type R for a daily driver and track car, or stick with the Si as a daily and get an S2000 for a fun weekend car.

@@emreboz1 if you don’t mind waiting for a good deal and got some extra funds and a good credit score get the type r bro you won’t regret it guaranteed. Other than that I would say get the s2000 can’t really go wrong with either

@@maheshchander03 no. I also did a one inch drop with the swift springs and I didn’t need an alignment but I still got one but you don’t need one. I didn’t know this until after I did the alignment so save your money on that unless for some reason your car isn’t going straight

The type R reddit page usually has people post their dealers that are selling for MSRP. That's how I got mine last month. Every dealer around my area wanted 5-10k markup

I’m looking into getting one soon, I heard it’s a night and day difference but changing the module can cause error codes down the line. How many miles have you put on the car with that module?

@@SleepingCivics As far as the ADM swap…Zero codes and zero issues of any kind. It has no clue it’s changed other than a program change.

@@Wonderlaust I have an AeroFlowDynamics v2 front lip on the way and I would like to get some te37s as well. That’s all I have planned for now I want to keep the car looking OEM as possible with subtle changes for now. I might look into getting the whole mugen kit or something like it in the future, but for now I just have the front lip planned. I will post another video once I get it installed later this week

I also just installed the black prl intercooler it looks really good with the front lip because of the black accents once I get that lip installed I’ll post asap

@@Nate-Aims it’s a great car that will last you a long time, I highly recommend it. It’s surprisingly quick and it’s easy to forget its front wheel drive only handles great.

Yea it is a lot of miles in two weeks, it wanted to break it in asap to be able to go fast but at the end of the day it is my daily. I wanted something quick and fun to drive that I know will last me a long time as I plan to keep this car for a while. Plus it’s a really fun car to drive in open and curvy roads

You buy a car to drive it….unless you’re ballin with Lambos and Porsches

Spoke with the dealership they said for new cars they have special break in oil and fluid so it’s not recommended to change the oil just yet. I have to wait until the next oil change is due

I looked up my vin didn’t see anything about a recall thankfully
