This Is Mezcal: Pechuga
Просмотров 8 тыс.6 лет назад
Earlier this year I was blessed with the opportunity to be present with the Cortes family for the making of their 2017 Mezcal Pechuga (bottled under El Jolgorio Pechuga). While I was very familiar with their Pechuga and Pechugas in general I had never see the entire process in person and with many things, seeing is understanding. It was one of the warmest most genuine experience I've had during...

The story of La Venenosa Etnica Tutsi with Esteban Morales Garibi
Tasteless.
This review was great; close to excellent. I think what’s missing is the Porfidio’s fermentation process; especially when coupled with the distillation; which all seem to work together to form some magic that creates a well tasting, yet less harmful spirit. In short, less furfural, methanol, and probably by default that also means less acetones and other formaldehyde like substances, all created from the heat (possible distilled over-heating)… Why isn’t all of that being talked about? I can see so many people getting on board with this brand, due to that. In addition, there’s a lack of information concerning the company/brands’ website. Is it the Big Tequila and Mezcal producers quelling this brand, or is the magic behind their unique process simply hokus pocus? Hence, the reason why there’s not much talk and for years now…? I’m curious, on the hunt, and have been… Nonetheless, your review was very informative; you’re well spoken, concise, and personable. I’d watch you again for your sage advice. All the best.
Great traditions, great mezcal and great video. Thanks for sharing.
Why is it that all these barbaric religions have to kill things to "celebrate life"? What a crock of shit!
You mean Catholicism? I don’t know, you’d have to ask the pope.
@@omariwheat4784 Nah the whole damn lot of them!

Thank you. I’m really hoping to start producing more content for this channel soon. Stay tuned!
Nadie como un Xhunko para chorear y mistificar el mugrero. Pure liars!
I've had the Pechuga from Del Maguey...amazing! Buy a bottle if you can find it!
Thanks John. That was probably the first Pechuga I ever had many years ago. It is also quite good.
Awesome video!
Keep up the great content!
word up! I want some. Shots!
Thanks so much for doing a 'first impression' of the DesmondJi-Porfidio collaboration on a special edition of 100% Agave Americana spirit, proudly made in India in our rural craft distillery (India's first), and that too for the first video in your series, Omari Wheat! Salud ;-)
Thanks so much! I am a big lover of Agave spirits and a lover of Mexico but I was very excited when I first heard about this Agave spirit. I am even more pleased that it is good! It is the first Agave spirit that I've enjoyed that wasn't from Latin America. I really hope to see more like this coming from you guys and I hope to visit as well! Cheers!
So glad you enjoyed our special 'spiritual offering' of Indian agave provenance ;-) You will surely see more Indian agave products -- e.g. a special edition añejo-style (oak barrel aged) DesmondJi, likely coming to international markets in the months ahead. It will be a great pleasure to have you visit our craft distillery... in the meanwhile, you can check out the 3 min drone video tour of the same on our website, www.desmondji.com Cheers and saludos!
Very cool video Omari. Thanks for sharing.
Leonardo Comercio thanks dude. It’s been a long complicated process. Hope to have more to share soon!
