It’s been awhile so I don’t remember exactly. I know that we had the resort’s shuttle take us from the airport to the hotel and it was a bit of a drive, but I don’t remember exactly how long it was.

My husband made it with melamine boards from the hardware store. He custom cut it to fit the closet. I’m not sure how much it cost, but it was cheaper than buying pre-made shelves.

I actually agree. I was in a bit of a neutral phase when I did this makeover, and I think the grey tones will work well as a base so it’ll be easy to add in some fun colors with blankets and pillows. I still love the neutral palette, but I also like a little pop of color here and there.

I know, my plant has blown over a few times, and I’ve been meaning to get some of those. I completely agree!

It’s such an amazing tree to see in person.

The railings are metal, and the deck flooring is like roofing material. The floor is grooved so it’s uncomfortable to walk on, but the outdoor rugs fix that problem.

I’ll be back, I promise. I’m just taking a break until spring. I’ve been working on lots of projects that I’m excited to share in a few months.

Yes, it’s easier when the kids are little, they don’t usually mind sharing their rooms. In fact, my littlest just lived in our room at the beginning. But it’s hard with teens, they like their own space. I hope I was able to give you some ideas for your smaller place. One thing I really liked about living here was that no one ever seemed very far away, it was always cozy.

We have a pretty fast turnover in our house with 6 people in our family. Food doesn’t sit for long in the pantry. I’ve customized my pantry to our needs and food consumption, but different people will have different amounts and different food depending on their household.

I really like these bunk beds from IKEA, because they’re a little lower to the ground than most other bunk beds. Also, mattress protectors are a great option because you just have to throw them in the wash and it’ll keep the mattresses good as new.

I’m actually from Canada, so I can’t speak for what it’s like in the states. I do recycle my cardboard boxes as well as my plastic bottles and tin cans. The large white containers at the bottom of the pantry are for recycling. Thanks so much for watching, I’m glad you enjoyed the video 🧡

I can't speak for all of the US, but in south Texas they have decided they no longer want to provide us someplace to throw all these plastic bags, and Amazon boxes. I hot so used to recycling, but now they want it in trash, or you look for someplace to take it. Some big cities have recycling drums, but not everywhere.
