Their best album imo. I remember playing this CD over & over in high school.

I have this on both DVD and VHS. The quality of the video on the tape is twice as good as the digital version. WHY? You'd think that the dvd would be far superior to VHS but the tape is MANY times better. Kinda makes me want to have a VCR again just to watch this performance.

So thankful that you put this on. I never had the chance to see it before. Was very fortunate to see the whole album live for the Empire tour in 1990-91. I recall an ad in a metal magazine in 88 saying it was metal's version of The Wall (I didn't even know Pink Floyd at the time. Didn't know what The Wall was.) Also recall seeing a piece saying something like "...if metal fans had any f- brains, Queensryche would the most popular..." Can't recall which magazine it was.

I saw Geoff Tate at the Ranch in Ft. Myers Florida in Jan 2023 and oh my God he and his band are freakin amazing and such a cool down to earth dude. One of the best concerts I've ever seen. I wouldn't spend a penny or my time going to see this new Queensryche band with the new singer because it was Geff Tates voice and talent that made the band what it was. It would be like seeing Journey without Steve Perry singing or something like that. All I can say is Geoff Tate is still touring now with his band so do not waste your chance to go see him because you'll be blown away!!

Geoff Tate still touring the album virtually every year. Saw the 25th anniversary show last year. Full album in order then a greatest hits encore. Already have my ticket for this year's show. This album is 2nd only to Pink Floyd's The Wall in the pantheon of the greatest concept albums ever made.

Queensryche singer was the best vocals I have ever heard, the very best song for me was take hold of the flame, but loved all their music….
