Degreaser? Not sure why you would need this on a fire hydrant.
The degreaser removes old, weathered lubricant from the nozzle and cap threads, which creates a like new anti-seize/lubricant application. More importantly, using this method will ensure that the caps will easily come off of the hydrant if/when there is ever an emergency, and the fire department needs to use the hydrant. There are details in the video that will explain the complete process more in depth. Hope this helps!

No thrust block, and is that a draining hydrant. If so should have showed the rock, poly and sand.
Speaking of being hit by vehicles, the one in front of my house suffered such a fate. The city/town fixed it… except it now doesn’t sit at 90 degrees from the grade/ground and sits about 1-2 feet above grade/ground. Is this normal? I don’t want to see picky but the (shoddy?) installation is driving me bananas.
