I know it's super late to mention this, but you didn't actually need a potion of will xp to save your first run. Summon gives 3 will xp per use, and so you just needed to use summon 834 times to get enough xp for ghost sword.

The funny thing, is that the best use for the summon spell is to glitch through the ground in the guild and get the Sword of Aeons early.

Leaving a comment here as it might be useful to know if you decide to work on the other factions. If you go do shivering isles up to receiving duskfang and dawnfang, you can use them to tell you when it’s safe to go outside. If you receive Duskfang, go out about your buisness, it should be safe. But if it changes to dawnfang while in an interior space? STAY INSIDE. Wait until night. Don’t even have to equip it for this function to work, as long as it remains in the inventory.
