Cool buggy terrible camera work
TMI sells a "baja rear " rear carpet kit if you are omitting the back seat. It covers the panel where the seat belts are bolted to. Otherwise, they give you the carpet that goes on the back of the seat. My bug is too low to drive with anyone back there so I'm building a flat platform with storage cubbies. Plus, TMI sells the matching carpet by the yard

He was sitting on a makeshift wooden seat😅🤣...we didn't have the passenger seat in at that moment for the test drive so we just threw a little wooden seat in there just to go around the block which made him look very tall haha. Ive worked on and been a fan of VWs since i was able to hold a wrench. I used to build rail buggies. Ive cut up do many bugs and busses it makes me sick now. I still have a Bradly GT i get out in the summer and have sime fun and one rail buggy. I still like to tunker on them. We got kinda crazy in the rarly 90s putting porche engines on them and then like a 4.3 Chevrolet engine is the biggest i ever put in one. Lots of fun though.

Great video thank you, I'm new to air cool and i just got my first beetle is 75 and engine start good when cold and hard to start when hot and the 1600 was fuel injected and been convert to carb i just check the compressor and all 4 cylinder are 100psi and i assume it will need a rebuilt and I'm curious if you have video showing what parts need it for a rebuilt. Sorry it took forever to get to your comment😅 As far as a listing of what parts you need to replace would be something an engine builder would have to determine. Basically jugs, pistons, main bearings, cam bearings and a cam kit with lifters is what we had to replace for our 1776cc engine that's in our bug (not this engine in this video)we also replaced the crank and a few others but you may not need to. We bought our parts from AA Performance for our 1776cc a few years back. But You could also purchase the parts or whatever you need from John Moe at West Coast Core. It's hard to beat his prices, tell him Just Buggin VW Sent you! He built our 1776cc for us! He sells engines and parts.
