Hello, just wondering if the system will target lock?

Why cant Minnkota put a feature on Ulterra that allows MANUAL stow and deploy so in a pich on failure, we can still stow and deploy this motor and keep fishing ?? Crazy

The problem is you need to go into settings and make sure the 360 transducer is selected...that will fix your problem

way over priced. there is no way that thing should cost $2,000. they are ripping people off.

Does it have to be plugged in in order to deploy it? I keep pressing the release pedal but the motor is not deploying?

hello, I'm just wondering if I can build something similar with my "Mega Live". Tell me,..... what does the "Target Lock Software" on your Solix 15 look like when you use the Mega Live encoder. Are there any software problems because you haven't installed the "Target Lock" in combination with an MK Ultrex? Are there any differences or functions that no longer work or even work incorrectly compared to when using an MK Ultrex? regards from Bochum in Germany Christian

I have a 2014 Ranger 620 and installed a Quest Terrova 60” I could not get the 57 slide to work and use 6 mounting bolts like required. In order to get the motor far enough out with the slide bracket and not hit the rub rail I didn’t have enough predrilled holes for 6 bolts. I ended up purchasing the 58 bracket and it was perfect since it has multiple predrilled mounting holes to mount the slide to it. 👍 I had 2 Ulterra’s take a dump on me on trips so I’m done with the self deploy game. Great when it works it’s great but it ruined 2 trips. Never again ! Great video 👍

With the mega 360 attached would a boat cover still fit over everything? I keep my boat in a marina and always keep it covered. I also have a Tracker Targa.

Hello, I just purchased a Mega Live Target Lock. I currently have my Mega Live mounted on a mount that hangs over the starboard side of my boat. I am making a bracket to use the Mega Live Target lock on the starboard side of the boat also; but I need to know ( can I use the current/same wiring harness that goes from the battery to the Mega Live to hook up the live target?) (Put a splitter on the wiring harness ?? This means I would have the Mega Live and Mega Live Target Lock on the same wires from the battery. Do I need to run a separate set of wires from the battery to the Live Target to drive the motor on the Live Target? Also, If anyone has made a bracket to mount the Target Live to the side of the boat I would really appreciate your help.

I just bought this trolling motor in 24v. I did notice if i dont slide the height collar and lock it, I can push the TM to deploy it without hitting the release lever. This seems to be normal?? Thanks

How would the plate and that mount do with a mega live, Target lock. Together, they weight 11.5 lbs. Not sure how much weight mega 360 would add. I worry about stumps, and other structure, impacting and bending those expensive toys.

You didn't show anything how do you expect this video to help anybody you didn't show how to remove the old spindle and he didn't show how to install the new spindle what you need to do is take this video offline. If you're going to put one on make sure it actually shows how to do what somebody looks up

When the motor is in the storage position, what is the height from the base plate to the top of the motor? I need to be able to move it up and down under the bow rail and I dont want to cut the rail

... Thanks for the video. I am searching far and wide for this answer. I ahve a post on FB Motorguide page. I searched youtube. That's how I found this video. There must be an internal switch that connects when deploying and disconnects when retracting. Example- Power to prop is on, prop is turning. If you were to retract the unit, when the shaft is about at a 45 degree angle the power is killed, disconnected, as you stow the TM. Is there such a "switch"? I believe that is what is wrong with my Xi5, 36V. Thank you.

I want to hook up a compass puck to my Mega 360. Two wires come out the puck. Do I just run these directly to the battery? I saw I need a 1 amp fuse on my negative wire. Is it that simple or does the puck need to be hooked up to my dedicated Mega 360 Helix unit? So confused. TIA!

Does the ranger cover fit with the 360 mounted on the trolling motor? I have a 360 in a universal mount but I really don't like it and would like to mount it to the trolling motor. Only holding me back is I don't think the cover will fit.

Some times my shaft will turn but no the head unit theres a Grove or something that has to line up

I need something that will allow me to get a trolling motor over a lip on the front of the boat that prevents me from mounting it right on the front where it would need to be… I’m thinking some sort of a sliding mechanism… Would this be able to give me an additional few inches to get it over that lip with the baseplate behind the lip and the mounting bracket still reaching over with the motor? (I’m also using a older trolling motor… I don’t know exactly which but would it work with this as well?)
