i remember i was in the 8th grade at school in the gym locker room and i was a total nobody, and some other kids were f*****g with me and asked if i was a virgin. it was literally the first time i ever heard the term and i had no idea what it even meant. i just assumed they were asking something insulting i thought they were asking if i was gay or some other thing to taunt me about so i said no. i didnt even know what i was saying, and that was fuel to mess with me relentlessly until luckily we moved at the start of the next school year. that was about a year or two before this film came out.

"Are you guys getting strippers or something" is definitely one of the funnier lines ever uttered in the Oval Office, real or any imaginary. I love Leo and Jeb's response, you know they appreciated the humor, but the gravity of the situation didn't leave room for acknowledgment. *Edit: This excludes the absurdist humor that came out of Trump's mouth everyday.

I liked the nuance of a guy who owns three stores knew what was going on and reported it. So often that will be huge.

Here's the thing: that scene with Fitz? It's so brilliant, and to quote Robin Williams, so sublime it's almost subliminal. Only Fitz and Bartlet could bring the funny to a serious conversation about espionage - and yet read each others' sarcasm as a method of getting through it. And yet, nothing was lost: there's gravitas, there's honesty, and there's...tractor fluid and strippers. Topped off with a self deprecating comment from Bartlet about his MS scandal. Is there nothing this show didn't do?

John Amos was great on the West Wing.

I love how the Joint Chiefs grew to respect Bartlett so much over the series. At first, and even he admitted, he had little to no military experience. However, the Bartlett character had the rare ability to grow and learn from his mistakes. By the end, Generals and military experts would snap-to at his, usually correct, military and diplomatic analysis on things. In the first season, there were discussions about his fitness to lead troops. By re-election time, the entire Joint Chiefs applauded his decision to run again.He may not have been the most experienced military man, but he was a world class chess grandmaster.
