Hi!! Great useful video. I'll be going to Innsbruck from Bologna in august and i was wondering what its like to travel with a large suitcase? Is there enough space or is there a risk of it not fitting in the luggage racks? Thanks ❤

I took the train last month. I upgraded to sleeper roommette prior to trip. I was disappointed it really not much upgrade with the extra $400+ . Windows were dirty, shower out of order, no coffee or water unless with meal. Train was delayed 1/2 hour to departing. Food was microwave not fresh. I didn't get wine. My next trip to Chicago will be on reserved coach. At least i'll get more food variety at the cafe.

I will be in Munich in June, and after I will travel from Munich to Switzerland, i dont like stops lol I prefer direct travel as I have a lugage. I'll stop by in Zurich to catch another train going to Interlaken. So not sure if i should get down at the ZUrich central station to do that? Or any stops I will be able to get a train going to Intrlken OST?

Hallo Michael, wieder ein schönes Video. Wir sind die Strecke 2018 gefahren, allerdings im Pkw mit Übernachtungen in Hotels. Das ändert aber nichts an der Schönheit der Gegend. Weiterhin gut Reise und viel Spaß! Gruß, Fred

Hallo Michael, danke für das schöne Video. Die Gegend um Whistler fehlt uns persönlich noch, ich hoffe, dass wir das irgenwann noch schaffen. Bis auf den Norden und Neufundland/Labrador haben wir inzwischen alle Provinzen besuchen können. Leider reagiert der Magen meiner Frau allergisch auf alles, was irgendwie nach Serpentinen aussieht... You are quite wrong about the roads in the Gällivare area - in fact most roads are paved (asphalt). You only find dirt/gravel roads on very few places - in small rural villages e.g.

Michael, good video but please add more details about places in between . . . I plan to do same trip in 2024 June in the opposite direction with family. I will be visiting from US . . . never driven a car in Europe but looks like there is no good train alternative in that part of the world and I will be renting a car.

Thanks for the video. I was curious how to travel from Zurich to Munich or vice versa without taking a plane; so this video helps. You did not mention about any intermediate stations from Munich to Lindau or from Lindau to Zurich. Did the train travel through Lichtenstein on the way from Lindau to Zurich? Go Bavaria my friend! Sehr schöne Strecke, da kommen die Erinnerungen an unseren letzten Trip in 2018 hoch. Da haben wir auch die Fähre von Prince Rupert nach Port Hardy mit im Programm gehabt. Weiterhin viel Spaß und gute Reise!

Ich finde es als Bahnreisender extrem enttäuschend, dass wenn man im Zuge des Brenner-Südzulaufs zukünftig mit dem Fernzug von München nach Verona möchte, man in Italien quasi nur noch in schwarze Tunnels blickt und nahezu nichts mehr vom schönen Etschtal sieht. Um auch was vom Etschtal sehen zu können, bleibt dann nur noch die Möglichkeit mit dem langsamen Regionalzug zu fahren.

When you plant or wnt to speak, please remember you are wering your mask, your dialogue is muffled, or consider subtitles, Keep up the good work.
