What do they do with the 10r140 transmission tunes? Raise shift points, boost line pressure? Nobody has been clear with this, just that if you get bigger tires, you need to tune...that doesn't say much.
@dustinrowling7121 The TCM tuning will Improve the driveability and power handling capability for the 10R140. They offer two options available, stock shift points and raised shift points and do bump up line pressure as well. If the vehicle does run 35" and bigger tires, its definitely recommended!
Does this allow you to see all 4 egt sensor readings on 6.7 at one time?
@GarzaDiesel Yes! With these you can select which sensors to display in a greta variety of ways to display them!

Can this monitor things like the regen,DEF fluid and stuff like that?
@albeesoaring Most Definitely! They can monitor dozens of pids from your vehicles ecm, and even gives you the capability to read diagnostic trouble codes and perform manual stationary regens on certain applications!

For sotf did you add the 5 position switch? I didn’t see it in video?

Is it necessary to have the truck hooked up to auxiliary power during this? Like a battery charger? I’d imagine doing the ECM you don’t have to as both batteries are disconnected and not drawing from the battery right? Maybe during the TCM install it is necessary??

@@Raven_Diesel even if the batteries are fully disconnected to do the ECM/far left plug? What will the battery charger do as the truck isn’t actually on?

On the device go to OBD > MISC ROUTINES > CLEAR TRANS ADAPTIVE RELEARN no Kam Reset file necessary
Anyone try the amdp tunes for their 6.0 powerstroke?

Can you do a video on adding credits
We haven’t had to do one recently. But it is a simple process. When you open the software and connect to the tuner, you’ll see a tab that says “credits”. Click on that and then press “check credits”. You should see a script below advising you of how many credits it added, or if there is none to be added. Make sure you’re on a strong internet connection when doing this. We did this once on a bad hot spot and it made the credits essentially disappear and never transfer to the device. The tune writer had to send us new credits again. To obtain credits, you need to contact your tune writer and they’ll set that up for you.
What trans tune did you do? Standard shift points?
This client did standard shift points, but we have also done the raised shift points on other trucks. Have had no complaints on either, so I would say it is preference.
Quick question if i wanted add sotf to pcm will i need pcm swaps?
You only need to swap the PCM on 2022+ Powerstrokes to enable SOTF capable tuning. If your truck is older, than you'll only need a revision. No PCM swap required.
How do you select between a hiss or rumble tune. Also what about low boost fueling?
You can request a hiss or rumble tune when you submit your tune order. Same thing for low boost fueling. Unfortunately you would not be able to switch between hiss and rumble tunes without going through this process every time.
Have you had any issues with the USB not connecting to the computer?
You more than likely need to re-install the USB drivers. They have the file on their website!
I did. There were 2 different zip files of autoflasher available on the web. The first one didn't contain the drivers needed and the install couldn't find drivers. I ended up uninstalling everything and starting over. when I was trying to update the firmware and the software kept telling me to unplug the cable before updating. I ended up having to plug in the USB portion of the cable but not the obd end. The update was needed as I couldn't use the software without it. Got things read on my 2020, stock files backed up and ready to have it tuned!

It can be either depending on what you order
What does this flashing provide, and do you have tuning for 2019 and earlier?
If you'd like to program a 2019 or older powerstroke. Id recommend going with EZ lynk. Flashing your ECM allows you to unlock your trucks true potential. More power and efficiency in most cases.

What all did you have to unplug under the hood with this tune
I disconnected batteries and the 3 PCM connectors on the firewall.
Do you have to wait for the tuner to send the tunes once you hook it up. Or do they come with the tuner when you purchase it. I’m wondering how long I would have to wait for the tuner to send the tunes.
You would have to receive the empty programmer first, plug it into the ecm to read the ECM serial number, than submit that serial number and vin to your tune writer. They sometimes send tunes back same day, but more than likely would be the next day.

The tool he is showing is what’s flashing the ECM, so no need to send it off
Gotta love them bean counters who engineered that truck for quick assembly and mass profit. Made everyone else's life a lot harder and more expensive. But hey...they got rich so who cares.
Can you delete and tune a 2022?
Yes, two options. Option 1: Delete only, 0 HP (Ford OEM Mexico tune) can be written directly to a 2022 PCM --- Option 2: Power tuning requires swapping your original PCM with an unlocked PCM from a 2020/2021 (this is the best option as you get to keep your original PCM, you can swap everything back to factory if you need warranty work and there's no trace of a tune being written to your PCM).

Check out Dirty Diesel Customs if you require AMDP tuning.
If you wanted to put it back to stock would you need a stock file saved to flash back?
nobody seems to ever have an answer to this. Is there an easy way to save and reflash the original firmware? And, then, easily swap back to 'tuned'.
AMDP saves your stock tune file when you send them your Information. If you ever had to go back to stock you call your tune writer and they send you your stock tune. You can also save the tunes on your windows laptop.
Your tune writer can send you a stock file if you ever care to return your truck to stock. Would be as simple as flashing it again.

PCM swaps are only required on 2022+ Powerstrokes that intend to run SOTF tuning. This device allows you to unlock your ECM at home without removing it from the truck.
So I bought the delete kit with the tuner for my 2020 Powerstroke and I finished doing the EGR and def delete and went to tune the ecu and the tuner won’t connect to the ecu. Anything I can do to fix this issue. I already replaced the cable that connects to the ecu and it didn’t resolve The issue.
You figure this out?
I might be wrong but I believe you have to do the tune first and then you can remove the egr and dpf .
It is recommend to program the vehicle before modifying it. But we have had good success programing vehicles post modification. @@dieselnut2369

@@mbproductions2292 Why not? Last time I went for emissions they just hooked up an ODB reader to make sure there are no codes thrown.

Those are fins to dissipate heat, not air vents
