The wildebeest migration is the largest and most spectacular wildlife phenomenon on the planet, showcasing the resilience and determination of nature. Every year, two million animals embark on an incredible journey along an 1800-kilometer circuit in pursuit of water and fresh grazing. Every year, they give birth in a location commonly known as Ndutu in Ngorongoro. The birthing season occurs from December to mid-March. After giving birth, they begin their journey north to the Serengeti and continue further north to the Masai Mara in Kenya, where they stay for three months. Following this period, they start their return to Tanzania. This cycle continues year after year.
