I reckon thats just resellers for you. My Sams Club still sells these 1:18 cars every now and then but theyre $16.98 now instead of $14.98. So they've gone up little but luckily not as drastic as $74.95 lol

Sorry I'm not really sure. I'm not sure if the screen is part of the shell or not, but considering the Toys R Us logo is on the screen part I think it would be harder to swap/not worth it in the long run. Is someone making replica shells out there?

It certainly doesn't help that they allow 5 memberships per household. Unfortunately by doing that its basically Mattel encouraging scalper behavior. At the end of the day they only care about moving units and making money, not the actual collectors that keep this hobby alive!

I believe those Sofubi ones are meant to be hung. Probably have a hook on the back/top. There are other color variants too. Pretty sure I’ve seen knock-offs with wings on the cap. This one though is by Global Holdings. Some Tuber picked this up for $20, regular $14.95 usd at Barnes & Noble.

If I recall the ball at the end of the sword comes off, so you just slide the hilt through the hole in his hand, and then reattach the ball after.

I dug it out of the display case. The blade is a separate piece from the entire hilt, so you poke the hilt through the hole in the hand, then plug the blade onto it once its through.

I'm almost positive its a plastic shell. I didn't open it to confirm though.

Pretty good deal, about as cheap as they get really. Its been so long since I've seen the show I don't even remember the fate of her character, but yeah she worked well against Theon.

Yeah I've heard the panel gap complaint on a lot of recent models with opening parts. It doesn't bother me as much since I usually will leave hoods or doors open, but yeah it can look bad when closed.

@@TypicalToyReviews Yeah, that makes sense. I rarely leave them open because a lot of the engines are horrible. Imagine that panel gap x64 on a real car. Nice car though for sure

Interesting. The green wheels don't bother me as is. If they were really green like in the photos though, it would be odd. Just seemed like a random color that clashes with the Nismo colors. I don't mind the logo on the side though. Gives it that unique Hot Wheels look. Without it, it would have been way too similar to the Team Transport version.

@@Mienboi821510 Yeah pretty garbage that those were both on such far out pre-orders. They showed off the carded product atleast a month ago for both. I figured they would have them ready to ship. Not sure whats next for sale, but hopefully whatever it is will actually be ready to ship ASAP

It really is, but all these new collectors only care about JDM nowadays. I'm not a huge fan of fantasy castings outside of RLC, but I would consider cars like the Blown Delivery to be "original designs" more than fantasy. Something that could actually exist.

@@TypicalToyReviews Well that's the modern car culture nowadays. Back then, people were all about muscle cars, hotrods, big Cadillacs, flames and chrome. But nowadays, the younger folks especially, aren't so into it. That's probably why the Blown Delivery isn't so popular now, it's so old-school. But I like old-school. 😎 And your right about it being a real car that could exist. It resembles an old Ford Model-T

@@bonnalishdiecast5089 Yeah the reflection of real culture does make sense. At any rate, as long as Mattel keeps making these throwback castings, I'll be happy. Doesn't really matter what other people think of them. It would suck if they stopped producing the legacy castings altogether though.

@@TypicalToyReviews Same thoughts here, brother. And it's not only the Blown Delivery I'd be disappointed about them putting an end to. The Drag Bus and the 55 Gasser are under the same category. I personally like these types of castings, and I'm glad they are still making them.

Sorry to hear you've had a negative experience. I personally have had really good success this year. I've found that as long as you are there right at launch time, its almost a guaranteed checkout for anything over 25k (although I know the site is super glitchy). I know that doesn't really work if you're at work, but working from home has made it quite easy for me. Definitely too many people using bots and the like that take away the fun of it. Especially when most of them are just there to flip the car and make $15, meanwhile the next guy has to pay $25 over retail. Mattel doesn't want to lose that artificial demand of having numbered cars. They could easily make enough for everyone but I think theyre too scared to do it.

I appreciate it, unfortunately I've gotten rid of most of them at this point in time.
