Yea, I agree. An instrumental would be better. I listened to nts.live while recording and just kept the sound because it matched my vibe, lol. Not very smart from a tutorial point of view. Still learning though.

Another user mentioned, that it might have something to do with the default language of AE where the word "slider" is different. I'm working on a solution.

@@bitmancer_ still working my way thought smart objects -- embebed files are very similar but not quite the same and I use them a lot since I create my own mockups from scratch. I'll play with it for a bit but with mockups and grain cover, I'm good to go :)

No I don't think so. Procedural textures have been a feature of Affinity Photo for quite some time.

@@Mayeru Good question. In the Affinity Forum I found a thread saying that: „ On iPad you can only open files with PT filters created on Desktop, and adjust input variables. You cannot add presets, create new PT layers or edit formulas.“ So the project file might work on Ipad. But not sure.

The Procedural Texture and other effects can not be added via Affinity Designer itself. However, you can set everything up in Affinity Photo (or download the asset file) and copy-paste the whole group into Designer. It appears to be fully editable.

@@bitmancer_ I had the same issue, it's a translation issue. You're looking for 'Slider' parameters but it rely on software language, in french the parameters is called 'Curseur', changing it does the job. And by the way thanks for this tool :)

@@RoiPancakes Good point, thank you. I hadn't thought of that. I'm not happy with the mandatory slider situation in general, but I haven't come up with a better idea for toggling the effect yet.

@@RoiPancakes I think I solved the problem. I added a checkbox instead of a slider, which is much more convenient for keyframing. I also added a fallback so that the expression works without the controls. I haven't been able to test it in another language, but in theory it should work multilanguage. If you like, you can check out the current version on gumroad.

I feel you. It's ridiculous that players can't even play the offline games they paid AAA prices for because EA has not been able to fix their faulty app for more than a year after dumping a fully functional app like Origin. And then hundreds of complaints are simply ignored. It's like buying a new car with a faulty key and the manufacturer is like: "Oh, the keys don't work? Maybe talk to some fellas whose keys are also broken!....or simply stop using the car!...not our problem, thanks for the money. Bye!"
