Just to let you know, The Nox Pirates were made 15 years Prior to the current story. Coincidentally, the same exact age as Carrot. Carrot is the only teenager among the Musketeers/Guardians that we know of, and despite her being a child there's never been any mention of her Parents. Where as Pekoms, was shown to be reunited with his parents on Zou. Where are Carrot's Parents? And was she even Born on Zou? There's a huge possibility that Carrot was brought back to Zou on the very first Nox Expedition, hence Pedro's interest in Carrot's Training in the first place.
See, you're thinking, you're digging, and i like that. That's why we do this. Pekoms is almost 30, and his parents are safe and sound on Zou. Carrot, a teenager who should need adult supervision, doesn't even mention her own parents even once. HOWEVER, Oda seems to have cemented that Carrot has never experienced the blue sea world before Luffy came around, so I don't think Pedro found her on his adventures. I believe that Carrot was born from another civilization in the sky. I would even go further to suspect that she was born on the MOON. One reason is because of Carrot's ability to jump great distances and "float in the air for a while"- as Pedro put it.
@@remytyndle3504 Yeah, I noticed that too. Carrot's lack of a proper backstory. Considering how important she became with her promotion to Duchess of Zou, this is telling. Her backstory only goes far as back as Pedro taking interest in training her. Sure we don't know about Inurashi or Nekomomushi's parents, but they are middle-aged. Parents are less important in One Piece when you're already an adult, but Carrot is not an adult, she is 15. The closest we get to a parental-type figure is Wanda, but far as we know Carrot and Wanda are not related. Carrot isn't afraid her parents will scold her when she's afraid Pedro will take her back home, but Wanda. All that we know regarding Pedro and Carrot is that he noticed she had no aptitude for the sword and found a weapon she had a natural affinity for, the gauntlets. That's all well and good...But why would that be enough for Pedro to suggest he would have Carrot on as his successor? What about her does Pedro know that we don't? Her double jump is also unique and not yet explained.
