The best version ive heard. Maybe because the song was still new and fresh for them to perform. From 7:00, Plants high voice crawls under my skin and Bonham loses his mind. Or maybe its me losing mine at 8:38. I was born in 1970, so it was not to be. I would give a lot to see a video of this version.

All the ‘71 Japan shows are exceptional. I think the best are 23 and 28. The soundboards from 28 and 29 allow one to composite a great soundboard album. Hope the rest of 28 and 29 see the light of day. 29’s Whole Lotta Love is maybe the best ever. Thanks for this great sounding 23.

Wow can't believe I'm just now seeing this and give anything to see the video ! This was the greatest and most memorable show I've ever seen. My date pulled me through the crowd all the way to front center stage and we even got a huge smile and finger point from Robert Plant during stairway to heaven. Great memories from the greatest show on earth!
