If only Chevrolet / GM could make vehicles as good as this commercial today. Their value & roots are a time past; as they market a name of what once was. Generations to come will never know a tangible bond like this to one’s legacy. Because today it’s meaningless transportation; whose unreliability force it into recycling, nothing of value here.

The hug between Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Robert Iler was the most amazing part of this commercial. They seemed so touched to do this together & it seemed emotional as it was after James Gandolfini’s passing. What an awesome tribute to James & the show.

When I first saw this last year I sent a thank you to the Chevrolet CEO for making this commercial. My Mom was in the early stages of vascular dementia I never thought that I'd be posting that she quickly deteriorated and on February 21st of this year we hold my Mom's hand for the last time. This commercial made me cry a little more than it did last year. Dementia and Alzheimer's what horrible diseases. Miss you Mom😢

Alzheimers is so sad to watch!! I know of a couple cases right now terribly sad!

Went thru this myself...lost my boyfriend to a seizure in his sleep right before my 41st birthday...i was getting ready to ask him to marry me...3 yrs we were together...that first Thanksgiving and Christmas were rough as all hell without him...i shut down for over a year or so then my brother got married and then my nephew was born ❤...i keep going for him now i still have moments but thats because I loved him and that will never change ❤️

As a full time spousal dementia caregiver I have to say this ad is a sickeningly simplistic romanticization of a brutal and uncaring terminal disease. I’m baffled that the Alzheimer’s Society signed off on it. Surely they were paid for that. It’s a horrible ad that pushes a narrative of false hope and that if we just tried harder we can restore our loved ones. Take a loved one for a drive and the dead brain tissue will restore itself, neurons will reconnect and start firing again. Aphasia will be reversed! It’s total BS. Shame on Chevrolet for exploiting the pain and suffering that so many of us have to endure as we watch our loved ones die, day by day in front of our eyes.

This, my friends, is how you market your product. Well done Chevy..

I’m not sure triggering people to tears who are grieving the loss of a family member who suffered from this horrible condition is good to do in order to market a product. For many who lived out this nightmare with their loved one it is just cruel. Especially when their final years were spent not being able to walk, verbalize words, drink liquids and definitely not recognizing others with any meaningful facial expressions.
