Russian with a Russian
Россия
Hi there! Welcome to my channel!
My name is Diana Dank. I am an actress. In my free time I teach English, French and Russian.
I have been working on the “Russian as a second language” course for quite some time, for I have a few students from abroad.
I hope that this course will help you dive quickly into the beautiful world of the Russian language and enjoy the process of learning it.
It doesn’t matter whether you are just starting to learn or are already proficient in Russian. Maybe you are an actor and need to prepare for the role of a member of the Russian Bratva. Or maybe you just came here out of curiosity.
You will become super-super good at reading, speaking and driving other people crazy with your Russian phrases.
I am very glad to see you all here.
Stay smart, healthy and happy!
Wishing you a good day,
Your Russian with a Russian

This is an absolutely amazing video!
Wait, I thought it was Привет?
She is hilarious :) Spoken Russian is either beautiful, or terrifying. Just depends on how its spoken!
Dang my guy chill out
did not teach me enething
if you need several sounds/letter/whatever for one necessity- it is definitely NOT a problem of opponent. It's yours)
No I am not a Russian spy
Russian with a Russian i really appreciate your help but u shouldnt just put cursed words it might hurt ppl when they talk
Ty so much for making this trying to practice so I can get the role of veruca salt in my schools playyy
i think Im starting to hear progress FINALLY!! Thanks to you!
😂 that was so funny 😂
watching this as a russian :>
очень хочется знать, од куда знаешь говорить так хорошо по английскии. by the way, this is an older film but did you ever see Rbin Willims in Moscow on the Hudson, when I was a kid and first heard it I thought he was brilliant but after I studied ussian for a long time I saw it again and didn't find it very convincing, Love to all.
Hello, you know when I was a kid and heard russian accents or supposed Russian accents on films and in movies I thought it was totally cool, but now that I speak Russian I find most ones I remember are not really authentic and just to me sound like Americans speaking with what they think is a Russian accent or even more annoying if they try to speak in russianand weren't coached. Love to you and ssian language.
interesting and entertaining video, you are totally correct on all accounts. I'm an American who loves languages and studied Russian to an advanced level, but I find it so funny sometimes, that Americans will insist that what I tell themn about a Russian accent in English is correct, they wwill come out with something which, well at best will be like Count Dracula. But you are correct. and this does help for voice overs or acting, I, my self love accents and enjoy when i meed t someoen who has an authentic one. Beuatifful done.
Thank you so much for your feedback! It really means a lot to me! And moreover, I'm glad to hear that this video can help fellow actors as I think it is important for any actor to take a more thorogh approach to the issues such as foreign accents in order to look more organic in a part where you need to have one. Thank you again for your comment!❤🙏🤝
I’ll practice this for a voice acting gig I got, thanks!
Im from philipines but when im speaking english it like russian😂
Thank you. This helps me understand my coworker better. ❤
This is the best lesson on pronunciation I've found! Excellent. 😎 Thank you so much ! Liked. 👍 Commented. 🗨 Subscribed.✅
In Russian I have a strong caucus accent. That's where I learned Russian, haven't been there for a while but the accent stays 😅
I would love for you to react to some clips from the Black Widow solo film that released in 2021! Many actors using Russian accents and some Russian speaking clips also! Specifically, David Harbour, Florence Pugh as Yelena, and Rachel Weiss
AAA CHTO , KAKOY RUSSKIY AKCEN, YA VAS NE PONIMAT AAAAAAA MHE YETO NE NADA TETYA NE NADO AAAAA
"They will be too scared to correct you" 😂😂😂
Every time I get a telemarketer, I answer in russian because it completely terrifies them and they take me off their list.
HELP I KEEP DRINKING WATER TO HELP WITH THE TONGUE ROLLS OR OTHER SPECIFIC RECOMMENDATIONS OR TIPS WHEN PRONOUNCING SOME SOUNDSS

Having to learn a Slavic accent for a film this was a wonderful tutorial thank you so much!!!
You look so beautiful, do you have boyfriend? 😊
Is the gap in my teeth the reason none of these are working???
No, that shouldn't matter
your smile is priceless to be honst.
NOW I'MA TROLL MY FRIENDS
no Afrikaans is the same as Russian also
dude- this is the best accent video I've ever watched! (and trust me I really love learning accents, so I've watched a lot) I'm really trying to learn Russian and do the accent- It's kinda for a silly reason, so I almost gave up after I couldn't find any good videos to help with the accent, but I'm really glad I found this one. I love how on the Д and T you actually told us how to physically do it, most of the videos I've seen just say "make the T deeper" and then I have no clue what to do, so, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS!! <3
:3ty
That's a lil bit exaggerated, but so true.
I'm Russian, you would know with what diligence I watched this video and repeated
Quite difficult or confusing your lessons.
this is possibly the hardest thing ive ever done in my life man
Molodets!
Your audio sound like recorded in a public toilet.
Chekhov from STAR TREK! PLEASE!
Great help! Really like that you showed the printed sounds, words, pronunciations, phrases, and sentences. I appreciatethat ypu said where to place the tongue on certain letters. Dzienkuje! This will kelp me in my current role as a Russian "babci". I'm of Polish background.
What I find most interesting about this isn't even the video's topic, just learning the differences between the two languages. Specifically with the lack of articles in Russian, that was cool.
I like this video because she is actually Russian so the pronunciation is real and you can learn the real thing
Oh cool I had thought this was going to be about attempts at Russian accents, but it was about attempts to speak Russian and examining the accents of the actors. It is particularly funny how the Mission Impossible scene is comically unbelievable due to their accents being unconvincing, but American audiences wouldn't know better. I like to imagine the flip-side, a Russian character speaking with a HEAVY accent trying to pass as an American native Army General, and they don't get called on it whatsoever.
