I recently replaced the oil pan gasket followed all the steps in your video and did one thing differently. My friend said to dimple ea bolt hole up with a ball pin hammer. I’m not sure what I did wrong but it’s leaking oil.. I used a cork gasket, Indian gasket sealer on both sides, and nut driver and all the bolts were hand tightened. Should I go back and torque them to spec in a cross pattern? Great video thank you so much.

I’m disappointed that you state that your spot welds will rust again, as if it’s unavoidable. Please go and visit Kiwi for a Master Class on how to treat metal before, intermediate, and after spot welding. He explains the chemistry regarding treated metal, preparing the metal, and protecting your new spot welds from ever rusting out!

I just replaced my bearings and seals in a Hummer H2 and the spider gears fell out. It was very frustrating getting them back in. They also had a wear ring that kept falling off too.
