Can someone help me, my nes and snes games on my wii don't open they just show a black screen

Mine is exactly like yours and has lasted over 7 years, until today. And, I'm having the exact same symptoms. I'm just going to order a new one and hope to get another 7 years for under 20.00. We'll, maybe I will mess with the screws first. I FIXED IT! I didn't even have to unscrew it all. I just put my thinnest tool in the hole in the blade and flexed on it some. Something must have been jammed in it. I will probably get a backup eventually. But, I hate to be wasteful. Thank you for your video. You inspired me to be more handy.

Found this video out of curiosity. Mine doing the same thing and its less then a week old. Used only 2 times. Get 3 to 6 seconds.. Amazon reviews after.i searched "battery" and "charge" has all same issues! (annoyed as i got this after researching that this is supposed to be one the best handhelds i can even take on holiday with me. Obviously plan was to send back. But gonna wait until filter dry to see if its that! I woukd expected it to last more then two 3 to 4 minute uses before filter clogged though. Its only been used for small crumbs at the sofa between vaccuming with my henry

This comes with a motorised turbo brush for pet hair. And that is stored in the plastic shroud you thought was a bin! I was hoping you would demonstrate that, but it looks like that was missing sadly.

The pliers or a heat sink were suppose to be between the fuse and the pad that gets soldered so that the fuse does not see the heat from the iron. (just a tip)

I appreciate the logical, methodical approach to the repair....trace the signal path starting with the amplifier...then follow the circuit path on the PCB, then test out the headphone connector....good work. I meself have a vintage nonfunctional audio cassette recorder that I will attempt to repair.

Good fix. Im keeping that black screen diagnosis in my medical bag LOL I just mended one myself that wouldnt keep the disc in , it had a penny in it. That was it. Didnt even have to entirely dismantle it. That one you have is homebrewed so you can play back ups without having the disc in it.

My kids had this(bought in charity shop) . They used it as a bomb. They would set it up on the floor in the shed (bank or whatever they were 'blowing up') , (all the bits in it )and run and 'hide' then when it exploded, they would set it up all over again. Dont know how many times they did it but it was lots. I cant remember it actually being used to play the game more than once or twice.

Why the manufacturers can't have their systems display basic error messages is beyond me. Even if they designed the things with a trapdoor you could open to access the plug in cards would be a great help. Good fix. Should I come across a Wii with a black screen, that will be the first thing I check.

Reposting this as YT kill any messages as spam if you mention e-commerce sites. First, I don't find your cheap Chinese place to be at all cheap despite the hype. For example that £4 HDMI converter is under £2 at the place beginning with "A". Also if you want to capture Wii, it would be better to buy a Wii to HDMI adaptor, which gives pin-sharp results and is available from the "A" place for the same £1.74. These would have free 7 day delivery as well. How is that TV BTW? I noticed they're very cheap so was interested to see if you've had issues with it.

I took apart my remote for a heated throw that I barely used. The thermal fuses were all melted together and stopped working, I'm trying to find out where to buy them. I'm sure I could buy them in Amazon, but I can't see any numbers on them to make sure I get the correct 3 fuses. All are melted together and fused, I need to take them out before I look where to buy them. Thank you for uploading this video, I thought I was the only person who had this problem. Other videos showed other problems with the blankets or throws. For some reason your video came up after I was done watching a sewing project. What a strange coincidence. ❤️🌺🙂🤔

I've seen a few of these, they're really, really badly made. First the reason for the noise is most likely something on the board is rubbing against the flywheel. This always seems to happen as they didn't bother to install spacers between the board and the mech like would have been in place in the '80s when these were used with 8 bit computers. The socket will most likely break again. It's not a cold joint, they're just garbage connectors - you probably nudged the pin that makes contact with the make/break plate upwards a tad making it work, temporarily. The only proper fix for this is to replace the socket (it twists out of shape when someone is rough with the headphone plug). What I did with these was to swap the ear and mic jacks - the mic doesn't get as much use, and when it breaks it just makes the built in mic not work. I wasn't able to find any suitable jacks. They're just carp mate 😂

Aces! There was already a slot in line with the flat head screw post. I just jammed a smallish screwdriver in the slot and gently twisted counter clockwise maybe 30 degrees; the plastic was soft enough that the screwdriver widened the hole easily. Started right up. My wife was impressed, and I’m not going to disabuse her of this impression- I can use the good will!

Ok.. old video. Hope you can help… I’m trying to adjust The potentiometer… I have precision bits but can’t figure out what is needed to loosen or tighten? My CD is reading unplayable

This worked for me made a hole with a small screw till l got though the plastic cover then kept turning the screwdriver till l got to the screw in the middle it now works like new 😊

I turned that screw about 2mm to the right since I didn't drill a hole for easier access and it started spinning again. Surprised it worked with that minor touch and happy cause I'm craving an espresso. Thank you!
