Another thing thats also wierd for that year is if you have the door panels that have manual windows, the style is different than 96 to 00

I have a 1998 Ford crown Vic it doesn't run that good but my papa fix the window so now we can roll down them but all he needs to do is try to get the doors working back doors

got a 2009 crown vic police interceptor, thing just flies on the freeway! 208k miles, very minimal maintenance! it saved me in a car crash, lady was more hurt then me and she hit me from the back in a van, i barely took damage and still kept it just fixed it

My best friend bought a grand Marquis in November of 2021 and has since put 83,000 miles on it over various road trips. I did the math and that’s about 90 miles a day, many of them on snow and gravel, yet the only major engine work he’s had to do was the timing chain at around 190k. Took him an afternoon in his driveway. You cannot kill these cars.
