Cancel culture would've ruined FM25 were it to be released in (pre-)alpha state (the "release and fix things down the line" part). I do think they could partner up with some of the people doing databases out there and update FM24 that way. I'm excited to see how the current England YA ends and what you end up doing in the future. Maybe a journeyman with big stipulations (akin to SYC's "no European winners (from before the save starts and tally them as the years tick in the save)?

For me I would like to know if they will keep FM 24 on gamepass and playstation extra and premium or not until Fm 26 comes out. They mentioned that is still something they will need to clarify. It also sort of puts a lot of pressure for Fm 26 to overdeliver bc everyone patience will already be kind of spent at that point.

I play age of empires 2. Released in the 90’s and a definitive edition in 2019. Still playing, still making content. FM creators will be fine missing a year

I'd guess that the game is so bad at the moment that they weren't confident that they could make the patches to fix it at a later date.

Fully agree with you, Lewis. There's no point people getting angry because a company didn't make a game they like (and it's not their problem some people became full time creators focused on FM!) If the game isn't right, then I fully agree with their decision to not release it. Put FM25 aside, focus on FM26 and smash it. I'm confident they will and we'll eventually have a great game to play. And like you say, there's lots of options to enhance FM24, which is arguably the best game SI have ever created.

Would consider Toth for RM/LM because of his height and jumping reach - will probably get dominated on back post crosses at RB/LB. Overall a solid season and some good progress from the boys - will be interested to see what bids you get in the summer!

I didnt mind that Low Determination CB. 3.5 stars with double figure tackling, marking, positioning. I’d put him in the first team, mentor him, and then worst case scenario sell him for a couple mill a year later.

Lots of stuff to take in today from what I'm seeing, first of all, we can all laugh/panic at the lack of FM news, SI scoring own goals, but I digress. More specifically, FM gods definitely heard you clapping back on Wednesday and decided to have a bit of a laugh. Culkin is a Mental and Physical giant. Really hope his technicals improve over time, but he really looks like he can be a serviceable backup for future Prem Darton if needed. Reid is looking nice, if a bit limited for me, but its good to see the growth continue. Hemsley continuing to just be a fantastic well rounded FW definitely going to ease us into the Prem slowly but surely. Intake day! Bit of a wet blanket, this one, but maybe something underneath? Lot of guys for the loan army I think. Sanchez has some raw skills, but its a real shame about his growth range. Best to just loan him out and see how things progress. Evans is a competent enough backup for a CM on attack, good injury stop-gap at least. You know I love me some fun internationals, but Ornstil is a clear no, all the skills in all the wrong places too much of a project. Toth though looks like something we could use, love a good either footed, and while FM tends to overrate the footedness there is a lot to like about retraining them as a left wing back, I think. McLeod is far and away the highlight on the prospect, its a shame he doens't have full 5*, but with his floor already so high, he's going to do you some right good business as the understudy for Davidson for a year, or an out and out replacement. I think it would be good to consider Abioye as well, just as a youth team/loan army prospect since he's another CB with a determined personality and at least backup potential, might make him into something. Youth Prospect Top 4 1. McLeod 2. Toth 3. Evans 4. Sanchez Tough luck on being on the bubble-line. But I think this is a better result than going up right now, the intakes need a bit more seasoning. I do wonder though if there is a chance yet for us to look for some foreign affiliates though, would be fun to start getting some smaller nations for it.

Your bad goal difference and the result overviews tell me you score too few goals. That is down to the system. The lone striker is a hunger striker upfront with those deep 4 behind him.

Would be interested to see how Marko got on at Hull - did he even play? Next item IMO is a stadium expansion to get those gates receipts up. Vella as a CM or DM would be really good but I would lean CM - excited to see a few solid seasons in the Championship to ensure the boys are ready for the Prem!

Painful to let Marko go but it was the right thing to do, the club is bigger than any player. Overall good progress, would love to see us stay another few seasons until those new guys are ready for these step up to the Prem. Amarri as a DM role or BPD would be nuts, ngl. Work on his off the ball and vision and he could be the one who sets up play. Very solid defensive stats (subpar marking but really good tackling, work rate is there, natural fitness and stamina too...). Wesley has excellent stats in the right areas tho he lacks a bit of height, heading, and jumping reach. Still, there's a solid striker in the makings there. I'd use Vella out wide since his defensive stats are lacking. However, using him as an attacking midfielder isn't a bad idea either. Though Charlie should probably be the first or second option there given that guy has EPL standard potential and Vella's still up in the air Good intake all things considered.

Vella can player anywhere between Midfield and Attack even as a Striker he wouldnt be wasted, so just follow your gut

What a scary starting still with that title. Time to see what you're planning to sell as we try to survive. Oh my goodness, this is going to hurt, but that money is too hard to turn down. We need to focus our attention on infrastructure though, I can't blame you. Cheers to Marko! Oh man, what a great surprise with Hemsley. He's really starting to become super balanced, a blessing in surprise now. And nice to see that Reid is starting to blossom, was a weird prospect when he first came in, but glad he's becoming that winger that many of us were suggesting he could be. Halleluiah we have an intake worth remembering! And a Maltese Elite prospect, would you look at that! And good personalities! What a difference a few upgrades make! With Jat, I like what I am seeing, though I am not sure if I agree with CM on Attack. With the passing and the decent dribbling/first touch, I think he could do very well playing on the Right wing. He's definitely not a striker, but playing him as classic wing is very viable. Culkin has some good bones, with nice height and some good mentals in the good places, but he does need a bit more seasoning on the technicals as well as Anticipation, Concentration and Teamwork. Love what I see out of Hoyland, multiple tools to work on either DM or CB. I think my first instinct with the Work Rate/Fitness/Stamina is to leave him in the DM spot and season him in the u18s/loans until its time to reconsider Scott's contract, then he can be brought in for the big leagues. Bennett looks like we won't be missing Marko for long. Honestly, while he should still have a bit of time in the u18s, he likely can replace Hvonickis/Ried/Mutasa pretty quickly. Though honestly, with his attribute, he might be better as the understudy to Hemsley until we find out if he can get his crossing up (or perhaps an inside forward?). Vella was instant love for me too, unlike how I feel about Jat, Vella feels much more reasonable to play in a more advanced position, and because of his natural positions, could make a great RW as well, consistancy as an issue is a little worrying. While not the best intake with regards to depth, its top end is pure class. Best intake since s10. 1. Hoyland 2. Bennet 3. Vella 4. Jat 5. Culkin Sad to see that Tikkanen is heading out, but a good deal. Great service from the lad for 10 years. Really interesting to see Culkin jumping up so quick, and I like the growth we're seeing for Austerfield and Wilson, some nice promising stuff. Love love loooooove the rise of Bankole, just needs those technicals up. Good season, and nice to see we didn't have as many concerning issues regarding relegation. Don't like the financial projections, but also think the expansion will have that 3 year projection sliced in half, once completed. On the topic of updates, I think I do like having a month to month, but only if there are things to talk about, considering things like growth of players, standouts, etc. Kinda like what you did this time with Hemsley and Reid.
